Great experience overall!

Good location: very close to train station and metro but on a quiet street. Quick self-check in and out. Comfortable bed and pillows. Nice spacious shower. Breakfast is served till noon and I recommend not pay for included option because it's quite limited and there are plenty of better choices if you pay in the cafeteria.

It was mega...easy check in with the machines, nice room with very comfortable beds and pillows, great big chair, big TV, clean bathroom. Close to everything,yet in a peaceful area. Great lobby with full vending machines, coffee machine, fridge and table tennis. If I ever want to comeback to Antwerpen one thing I don't have to worry about is where I am going to be staying - Antwerp citybox.

Slide bathroom door,which isn't exactly closed even when it is. No coke in a can in vending machines.

Functional and clean, and very quiet — no noise from the rooms above or beside. Comfortable enough, but ultimately it’s just a bed in a box. It’s a good option if you simply need somewhere to sleep.

The shower water pressure was extremely poor, and the body wash/ shampoo was empty. There isn’t really a lobby; instead there’s a communal kitchen area with fridges for storing food, which felt more like a university dormitory than a hotel. The included breakfast (as part of the Booking.com price) was not value for money.

Alright for a short stay.

Easy to check in and store bags, bed was comfortable and the room was a good size.

Location was slightly out from the main square/ sites. Amenities were pretty basic (no safe deposit box, one small towel each). There was a used towel on the floor that was left from a previous guest.

A simple but convenient hotel for tourists

Five different menus for breakfast contrary to my expectations of a buffet breakfast. But there was a kitchen for hotel guests where you can make a tea or heat up your food. A tennis table in the lobby is a cool idea!

I booked a room with terrace and city view, but got one without terrace and the view of a park house.

Really enjoyed my stay at Citybox. The room and bed was very comfortable. I like the overall cleaniness of the hotel. All information about check in and general was very clear. Breakfast was fresh and tasty.

Good size rooms, location and comfortable

Wasn’t too impressed with the cleanliness of the room. Found couple of long black hair on the sheets, bathroom floor, shower and chair. The person who was doing the checkout in the morning wasn’t too helpful or friendly.

Usually great, but this stay was a bit disappointing

In general, I like Citybox — it’s modern, well-located, and usually very comfortable. The check-in process is easy, and the design of the rooms is nice and minimalistic.

This time, however, it was quite noisy — I could clearly hear the neighbors, and when someone closed their door, it felt like the walls were shaking. The room wasn’t cleaned very thoroughly, and there was almost no hot water, only lukewarm.

Clean modern hotel in a very good location. Easy automatic check in and check out. I booked a single room but I got a big double room.

An enjoyable stay in Antwerp: lots to see and do...

Great location near railway station. Convenient for walking to most of the major sites: museums and art galleries (1/2 hour walk max). Breakfast is in the attached cafe and was good. Rooms are comfortable, cleaned every few days...

Everything is done on check-in and check out terminals, which is OK. There is one person on duty hidden in a small side-room. There is luggage storage but its not anybody on check-out can get a card for this so its not secure. (There is secure storage at the railway station.) No TV channels in rooms.

Great, cozy hotel close to the shopping center of the city.

The staff were very accommodating and helped us with everything. The rooms are nicely sized and with good natural light. While they do not offer parking, the elevator can take you straight to the BePark Parking Italiëlei garage, which was really convenient and affordable. The Opera tram and metro stations are less than 5 minutes walking.

Pet peeve, but there were no TV channels apart from bring your own streaming.

Convenient location, simple and quick check in. Has large lobby with kitchen, vending machines, microwave and kettle, as well as dishes for use. Nice spacious room with big shower, quiet, and laundry facilities on location.

Picture perfect. Spacious, extra comfortable, nice but small bathroom and (in my case) bad view.

Everything but my view was picture perfect. The best bed and pillows ever. Very spacious! Ill be coming again. For this price you cant find better value and location. Not a downside per-se, but my view was nowhere near as good as on promo photos. I was literally staring at the opposite parking wall. While not ideal, it was okay. Next time Id prefer for view option too. Also I wish the bathroom was bigger, but again, not an issue.

Great stay!

I loved how comfortable the beds were, the hotel room was basic but absolutely fine and exactly what was needed. The location is perfect. Close amenities everywhere and the cafe downstairs does great food and coffee. Luggage store is really good.

I didn't like that I was not informed I had to book early check in when I asked via messages with the hotel. Also I had a rate confirmed via booking.com and I could pay on arrival, when I paid I ended up paying 10/15 more because of currency exchange I am guessing.

Overall a nice affordable hotel in a very central location.

A nice hotel in a great location. The familyroom was spacious. It had a double bed and a bunk bed. It was minimalisticically decorated but in a nice way. A concrete ceiling with painted walls. The beds are supercomfortable. Staff was helpful. We visit Antwerp regularly and will book Citybox again.

We did find the room slightly noisy, the carpet was thin. It was obvious that another family with young children had the room above us.

Great value and location for money

Great location on a safe and clean street very close to Antwerp Central Station. Self check-in was easy and straightforward. The room was clean and very comfortable. The window could be opened for fresh air and there was air conditioning. The hotel does not offer breakfast, but next to the lobby of the hotel there is a nice and affordable breakfast place. The bed was a little soft to my liking but otherwise comfortabel. The bathroom had a rain shower.

The room was slightly noisy. If the neighbor closed their door, this was quite a loud sound in my room. Otherwise no noises from the next-door neighbors, so probably just the doors that are noisy.

Excellent stay in a calm and quiet atmosphere

It was modern and clean. The whole design is very minimalistic and industrial. The bed was comfortable, blinds were good, huge windows, clean and new bathroom, very pleasant staff, ready to help. All in all, great stay for a good price.

There is no buffet breakfast but there were a plenty of options in the cafe downstairs.

What a perfect stay!

The room was large enough and the location was just central. If you come to the city via bus or train , it is just 5 min walking distance from both. The room was clean and the check in was super easy(self check-in). Lots of places to around to eat. If I go to Antwerp again I will never look for another place to stay.
