Great views, location, comfy beds, well equipped kitchen. Plenty of seating

very warm rooms even with windows wide open. We were experiencing a heat wave so it's not the hosts fault but fans for the warmer days would be a good idea. Garden now attached to property

The location is amazing, quiet and picturesque. Downstairs all open plan and for a cottage had plenty of space. All cutlery etc there. Extremely clean. The beds were super comfy, we all slept extremely well. View of hills and sheep with all the bouncing baby lambs. Great tearoom(amazing homemade cakes) and guesthouse (The Mortal Man, fabulous food) walking distance for eating out. There was 4 adults and we had plenty of space as main bedroom has en suite the other couple had the bathroom to themselves. It was like a home from home.

Few little things which is only reason it's not a 10. Parking, very tight court yard if you have a big 4x4 or large family car. Also only 4 spots and 3 cottages share this so if every cottage had 2 cars the 2nd car for every cottage would fight over the 1 spare space. Also not owners fault but every morning we had loads of bird poo covering cars, of course ours was worst as.we were nearest tree, in end we parked close to front door. Also it says dog friendly, it's not really. The garden is not attached to house (didn't know this until we arrived), so having to take your dog early in the morning to the garden and try to open the metal gate quietly 🤫 not to wake the other 2 cottages was very difficult. It was just hard work. I think you should say no dogs as Also when we got there a laminate told us dogs not allowed on furniture and bed which I understand but if your dog is use to doing that it's hard to tell them no so really i would say your dog tolerant not dog friendly. Also lock is a nightmare, took us half an hour to sort out. The trick was not to put it fully in and jiggle it about until you found the connection, so that was fun when we turned up at 7pm to sort out when all the lines to office were shut. Also nothing in fridge or cupboards so I would advise you to get it on route as nothing in the village. This accommodation would have been a 10 if not had a dog.
