A comfortable place to stay very handy for Windermere town and the lake

Could do with some updating (looks a bit tired). Very close to a busy road.

It was a perfect experience for a lake distric weekend away.
The availability of cutlery, the location and the decoration of the cottage was perfect for our trip.
The property could have been a little bit cleaner, with the bedrooms have some cobwebs.

Stunning character lodge near the lake
Beautiful lodge with heaps of character, and extremely well equipped. We really enjoyed our stay. 20-30 mins into Windermere, and 5 mins direct to the lake.
It really wasn't a problem, but WiFi would have been appreciated.

Family Weekend Break
Just in the right location, facilities were fine as in all things modern wi-fi would have been a good addition but ob the whole we enjoyed the stay
It was unfortunate that the 2 bed frames for the single beds were both cracked, which led to one the party having to sleep on the sofa, having to be out by 10 am on the day we left was a little bit of a tall order as it didn't give us time to have a proper breakfast
