Levels and access with heavy bags

The property was perfect home from home for a weekend hiking in the Lakes with family and friends. Well equipped and comfortable, very dog friendly, and practical. Nothing too fancy, just a good honest lakeland cottage with comfy squashy sofas, stone flags in the kitchen and loads of thoughtful items for guests. Excellent location within moments walk for shops, food and pubs. We found parking across the street very straightforward.

It could do with an update in the decoration it’s looking a little tired

Information about where to drop off bags was comprehensive and location of accommodation was very handy for town. Pub opposite was nice for a drink and away from the tourists. Plenty of room.

There were no instructions regarding recycling etc so a lot of our recyclable packaging went in the bin. It was not possible to have two showers going at the same time or when the washing machine was going. Someone ended up with a cold shower or no water at all. This was inconvenient as we were on a running holiday and so we had to take it in turns to shower.
