Loved the location, perfect as a base to explore the surrounding hills and mountains. The house was mostly very clean and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable. The facilities were as advertised. Having 3 toilets and 2 showers was a real bonus.
No parking at the cottage was inconvenient, and involved paying extra in the main carpark, provided you could actually find a space on a very busy weekend.
We found that the hot water in the cottage either took an extraordinary long time to come through the system or did not get beyond luke warm. Felt like we were wasting a lot of precious water running it through to find some heat.

Good location.
No hot water at all for the duration of the stay. I read other reviews that said it takes significant time for the heat to come through, but we tried for 20mins and gave up. Parking is a downside. No parking on site. You need to drop the bags off and then go find a paid park. Check in was at 4pm and check out at 9am - taking the mick a bit for the price.
