A super little house, well equipped and very homely and comfortable. We would definitely visit again

A super little house with a garden on the edge of a beautiful lake. Such a quiet location with very little passing traffic. Very homely and comfortable with everything we needed. The large glass sliding doors downstairs and upstairs to allow the lake views to be enjoyed.

A handwashing sink near the downstairs toilet would be a good addition to the facilities.

A cosy house at a (waterski) lake says it all

A comfortable and well equipped holiday home for 2 or 3. The surroundings are peaceful and quiet, the views are great. Super hosts complete the picture. Wholeheartedly recommended if peace and serenity is what you are looking for. We will be coming back!

Beautiful views and comfortable and cosy retreat

The most comfortable bed ever. We slept so well. Beautiful views and loved the candles everywhere so relaxing. Great design inside and great furnishings. Location on the lake was peaceful and calming. We had a few issues which were quickly sorted and thoroughly enjoyed our stay Despite a few issues the owner was quixk to respond. Well arranged inside and the welcome bottle of fizz was lovely. Thanks.

House sign said 9 when we were told 7 which was confusing. Poor dogs in adjacent house were barking and whining in despair as left alone all day until late evening. We couldn't believe the terrible neglect of the entrance on arrival with weeds where it should be garden. Totally unloved The driveway too was neglected. It let the house down. The owner said he was coming next week but it looked like an uncared for dump- not acceptable and lawn at back not mown for us. The 3 euros city tax per person per night we find to be an unchallenged way of taking more money off people. We found this unfair.

A gorgeous, peaceful, well-equipped house with wonderful views

Brilliantly-equipped house with absolutely everything you could need. The log burner was lovely in the evenings, beds super-comfortable, kitchen excellent and bathroom luxurious. We loved waking up to the gorgeous view of the lake and it was a very peaceful area out of the city. Lidl and Aldi a stone's throw away. Arthur was a very responsive host who made our arrival smooth and easy. Highly recommended 😀

Eine tolle Unterkunft mit Seeblick

Eine tolle Unterkunft in gute Lage um Gent und die Umgebung zu besuchen. Die Gastgeber waren überaus freundlich, die Schlüsselübergabe unkompliziert. Der Blick über den See ist super, Urlaubsstimmung pur! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Obwohl die Lage am See durchaus Urlaubsstimmung aufkommen lässt, und der Blick sehr schön ist (Aufwachen mit Seeblick!) kann es auch mal etwas lauter werden (Motorboote, eine Party im Klubhaus). Aber dafür kann der Vermieter natürlich nichts.

Très beau séjour à Cosy house at the lake

les informations pour récupérer les clés dans la boite à clés étaient claires et nous n'avons eu aucun problème pour nous installer dans notre location. De plus la mère du propriétaire habitait juste a coté et a pu nous donner les informations nécessaires à notre installation. Ce que nous avons apprécié : la surface de la location; la situation au bord d'un lac et très près de Gand; le calme; l'équipement très complet;

Rien en piste d'amélioration : - Une télévision avec un écran plus grand - l'emplacement dans une arrière cuisine du réfrigérateur

Nous avons passé un très beau séjour.

Hôtes très arrangeants... erreur de dates de réservation de ma part.... Toute la famille, Arthur, sa maman et son ami ont tout fait pour pouvoir nous accueillir malgré tout (changement de dates possible). Un grand merci à eux. Très beau logement avec une vue magnifique.

Heerlijk tot rust komen in deze rustige, ruime omgeving!

Prachtig gelegen aan het meer. Omheinde tuin wat ideaal is om gauw even naar buiten te gaan met de hond. Tevens is de schuifpui in de woonkamer, gelegen aan de tuin heerlijk om deze in de zomer open te zetten en van alle ruimtes te genieten.

Er lag stof op wat plekken en de douche kon wat schoner.
