The location was perfect, only around 100m from Milano Centrale station. It was extremely convenient for getting the Malpensa Express early in the morning for our flight, which was much easier compared with our previous stays in Milan. It was also incredibly easy to access the metro, buses and trams nearby — we downloaded the ATM app and bought a 3-day pass for €15.50, which worked really well. The self-check-in was very smooth and the instructions provided were perfect. We got in and checked out with no issues whatsoever. The studio flat itself was excellent and clean on arrival. The bed was very comfortable, the coffee machine was a nice touch, and we were able to buy extra pods easily from a local grocery shop. The electronic blackout blinds were excellent and blocked out all light. The TV was great, and our Firestick connected to the internet with no issues. The WiFi was strong throughout our stay. The bathroom and shower were comfortable and perfectly suitable. There is also a washing machine, clothes horse, iron and ironing board, which were all very useful. The views from the entrance to the flat were excellent, with a panoramic cityscape and the Duomo visible in the distance.

Only a few small things to note. Although the flat was clean overall, some of the kitchen cups and utensils needed a quick clean on arrival, and one mug had lipstick on it. There is a washing machine, but no detergent was provided, so we had to buy some locally. The kitchen does not have a dishwasher, and there is only an under-counter fridge with a small freezer box, which is worth knowing before shopping. The water pressure from the taps was quite low, and the shower head holder was also low, so we generally had to hold the shower head up by hand. It was perfectly adequate, but worth noting if you are expecting a luxury rainfall shower experience. The lift takes you up 9 floors, but you do need to walk up the final set of stairs. This was fine for us, but if you have lots of heavy bags, you need to be able to carry them up the last staircase. The views from the entrance were fantastic, although as a tall person the balcony handrail felt quite low, which triggered my vertigo a little given how high up it was - worth noting if you’re super scared of heights. The view in the other direction was partly obstructed by some poles.
