Was a bit unsure with it being a pub but no regrets. The pub gets very busy but the room we had you couldn't hear anything, except for the odd car going by. The canal runs behind it with access by some steps off the car park. It's family run, all are very nice & made you feel welcome including Billy the dog. We were visiting friends near by & usually stay with them, this time we couldn't. Had food on the evening that we arrived with friends & all meals were very good. The cooked breakfast was amazing, lots of choice & you could vary it if you wished. Would definitely stay again. A BIG thank you!
