Location was good - not too far away from the main attractions but not overly busy which is what we prefer. The decor was attractive and there were interesting artefacts to look at.

That we were not advised that there was major construction going on in the basement below us which started before 8am and was not tolerable at points during the day. It meant keeping our shutters closed in the bedroom as the workers were able to have a clear view if we didn't. We were also expecting the 2nd bedroom to be set up as sitting area as per the photos. Without this there was nowhere for the 2 of us to sit together to relax. There was one armchair in the kitchen and one in the bedroom otherwise it was the kitchen chairs which were not comfortable for long sits. Neither of the 2 tv remotes worked and as it was wet we would have enjoyed watching a movie. The cost of cleaning at 150 Euros for 3 nights seemed exorbitant especially when we were required to remove all rubbish and recycling which meant going looking for those amenities. There were none in the building. There were no toiletries - if it was not so expensive I would not mention this. There were half empty left overs in a drawer but they were not attractive to use. No response to the email we sent before this review - we had hoped to get some feedback privately
