Duga Apartments

We had wonderful stay in Novi Sad. We had a very warn welcome from the host. The apartment is on the perfect place to be at one pace to everything, situated on the beatiful coast of Danube. It is very clean and equippped with everything you need. The beds were very comfortable. We used secured and comfortable parking are. Hvala! :)

Excellent location, right by the river. Great view of the river and Petrovaradin fortress. Flat is a small walk away from the center of Novi Sad. Cozy with everything you'll need during your stay! Having a parking (thats accessible only to the people living in the building) is a big plus!

Host was communicative and responsive to texts regarding questions and a concern with a window shade that was not working properly. Location is good but also a caveat - it has lots of urban sounds so if that’s disturbing or one is a light sleeper keep that in mind. The flat has beautiful parquet floors and antique furniture lending a cozy vibe. The neighborhood is a street lined with magnificent trees and there are mini markets five minutes walk as well as restaurants. As a solo traveler, the building itself and flat felt safe and secure. Notes: cash on arrival and no microwave to reheat food from out. No dishwasher so cleanliness of dishes and pots and pans is questionable so I didn’t use them.

The property is in desperate need of maintenance and repair and a thorough cleaning. The shower has mold and calcification, toilet seat is falling apart, coffee maker lid was melted by someone and not replaced. Bathroom has one dim light and the one over the sink is burned out. I stayed for a week and needed to clean the floors but the vacuum bag was totally full of debris and no replacement was available. I rate places at a 10 when they are a place that I would return to and that they are clean and in working order. While the host was helpful and responsive, I would not return to this particular place due to maintenance issues, cleanliness and noise (no fault of the host on that one).

Un apartament dragut, un pic vintage, cu o vedere frumoasa la Dunare si Cetate, aproape de centru, la cca 12 min. de mers pe jos. La locatie si langa gasiti Market si terase-bar. Gazda amabila.
