The property is perfectly located just a stones throw from the Vatican. It was clean, and exactly as advertised. Romeo was a wonderful host, giving us lots of local information, tips and constant support!

We stayed at this place for 3 nights.
The location is excellent, very central. Overall this is a modern place (not the building which is quite old, but the appartements per se).
First, the checkout time is extremely early at 10:00 AM, something we have never encountered elsewhere.
Second, the “included” breakfast is misleading. It consists of a single cornetto (a sweet pastry) and a coffee served not at the hotel, but at a bakery two minutes away. There is no alternative option. If you cannot eat sugar for any reason, you must pay extra—despite having already paid for breakfast. When we raised this with the manager, we were told they could not offer anything else because the breakfast is “complimentary,” which was frustrating and showed little flexibility or consideration for guests with dietary restrictions.
We were also informed that cleaning service would come daily at around 12:00. However, on Sunday no one came. When we reported it—after leaving our towels on the floor as instructed for replacement—we were told the cleaning staff “did not understand” what they were supposed to do(!!!) . If the hotel does not provide cleaning on certain days to save money (because obviously this is why the cleaning service did not enter our room), that’s fine but guests should be informed in order not to expect it and manage accordingly with the towels.
Additionally, the wifi hardly worked (we used our own data).
When we shared some of these concerns directly with the manager as constructive feedback, the response was defensive and dismissive, with repeated explanations that “this is the policy.” Unfortunately, it did not feel like a hotel that values improvement or guest experience and therefore I don’t think we will come back.
