Beautiful jungle room

Beautiful room located in the jungle! It was lovely hearing all the noises of the jungle when staying here. Comfortable room, great air con & hot water. Host was great at recommendations of things to do & places to eat. Very responsive. Also provided information on how to get to the island from Rio.

It’s about a 10min walk up a hill. This was fine for us. But something to note if you’re bringing suitcases.

Perfect resting place between exploring the island

The location with the view, both from the window and the deck was amazing. The bed was more comfortable than it looked and the extras of the shared little kitchen were perfect. Contact with the property was easy and friendly.

The room smelt somewhat of mould after being closed the whole day. It got better when we opened the windows and let it air.

Really great place to stay!

The place was clean, spacious and with a wonderful view. The facilities were a big plus: mini fridge, water boiler, ac and a shared kitchen. Really beautiful location and attentive host! Would totally stay here again!

The only minus is that because of the type of construction, the place is not soundproof. For us it wasn’t a big deal but it’s something that can bother. Also please mind the walk to the accommodation is not on even terrain, but we loved it!

Brilliant place to stay

The location of this accommodation is really special. Although it is only 10 minutes walk from the boats/main streets it is hidden in jungle. Paths take you through the trees. I did not expect the quality of room we had. It was great, spacious and everything you could need. There was a kettle and fridge in the room and kitchen facilities if you want them. The decked veranda is very attractive surrounded by banana leaves. On there you can sit or eat your breakfast. Hosts were very helpful and communicative. Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights. Thank you

Liked everything Take a torch, most of the path is lit but there are small areas where it is needed Insect repellent needed for outside areas as it is jungle If unsure how to find it take the right fork at the cemetery and turn right at the big metal box

Little oasis in the jungle

We loved our stay! The room was equipped with a fridge which was super handy, bed was comfy, shower was great. No complaints! There is a small shared kitchen which you can use too, which is kept immaculate by the owners. Really nice to make breakfast in the morning and sit in their garden listening to the sounds of the jungle. There is 10 minute walk up to the property with a bit of a gradient. But who comes to Ilha Grande and doesn’t expect a bit of a walk/climb! So many restaurants and bars in Abrãao, you’re spoilt for choice. Our highlight of the trip was a walk there and back to Dois Rios. We loved our stay here and would 100% recommend

Lovely place in the nature

Beautiful quiet spot outside of center, perfect for retreat. Nice little kitchen equiped with all the basics and lovely terrace and garden. Hosts are very helpful and friendly, meeting our requests. Thank you very much Augustina and Indio❤

Beautiful property with lovely owners at a fantastic price

Incredible property! Super peaceful with a beautiful view yet only 7 minute walk down to the centre. The hosts were lovely and went the extra mile leaving little chocolates on the bed. Beautiful bedroom at a really good price. Would 100% stay here again! Best place I’ve stayed in South America!

Very good

The room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The owners are extremely friendly and will go above and beyond to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. There is beautiful scenery to wake up to each morning along with birds and other animals in the morning.

The only thing that was a little inconvenient was that it was a longer walk into the town than expected. It isnt super far but it would have been more convenient if we had been a little closer is all.

Pura calma en mitad del bosque

El lugar es precioso, el camino hasta llegar al sitio es muy agradable, además de la paz y la tranquilidad que transmite. Además, caminando tardamos menos de 10 min a los puntos principales de Abraao. La habitación es muy cómoda con todo lo necesario.

As suítes na Casa do Índio oferecem momentos de paz e conforto

A suíte é nota 10! Muito limpa e bem arrumada. A cama é super confortável. O quarto que fiquei estava muito bem equipado, com chaleira elétrica, guarda-chuvas, secador de cabelo, frigobar, kit de primeiros socorros e itens de higiene. A propriedade é cercada por mata e sons de pássaros e conta com um chuveirão externo, uma cozinha bem equipada e espaços com bancos para relaxar. Os anfitriões foram muito prestativos e gentis... sempre respondendo muito rápido no whatsapp e tirando todas as dúvidas que surgiam, além de indicarem restaurantes, delivery e passeios. Eles foram muito flexíveis também.

Única coisa que consigo destacar é a longa ladeira que leva do centrinho até à acomodação, questão que já foi mencionada em outros comentários. Porém, a maior dificuldade, na real, são o primeiro e últimos dias por conta do transporte das malas. Sem as malas eu fazia esse trajeto em cerca de 10 minutos ou até menos. De qualquer forma, para quem tem dificuldade de locomoção, é um ponto a considerar. Dito isso, os anfitriões estão sempre dispostos a ajudar e tenho certeza que se for muito difícil subir/descer com as malas, eles ajudarão a encontrar uma solução.

Experiencia única en la isla.

Indio y Agus fueron muy amables y atentos desde que confirmamos la reserva. Nos guiaron en todo momento, desde qué excursiones hacer, playas, dónde comer. Así que un lujo. Nos olvidamos objetos de valor al partir, e hicieron todo lo posible por devolverlo, así que punto aparte para la honestidad y solidaridad. Sin duda volveríamos. Despertar escuchando aves, la tranquilidad del lugar es todo.

No es algo negativo, pero solo a modo de información. La subida es exigente, sobre todo para gente mayor o con problemas de movilidad.

La habitación es muy cómoda , estaba todo impecable y con lindos detalles de bienvenida. La vista desde las ventanas es todo selva, la variedad de aves te despiertan a penas sale el sol , muy recomendable 😊

A nosotros nos gustó la ubicación , pero para quienes reserven tengan consideración que no es pegado a las calles principales , la valija con rueditas no te va a servir y tiene varios metros de subida . Nada difícil pero para alguien de movilidad reducida le puede jugar en contra

La Suite no es suite, es una habitación de construcción precaria, es un hostel. Lejos del centro, incómodo para llegar. Camino de barro sin luz. Las dos veces que necesitamos consultar nos contestaron al día siguiente. La limpieza es aceptable. No tiene servicio de habitación. No volvería

La verdad fue una estadía excelente, la disfrutamos demasiado! Se preocuparon mucho por darnos el mejor servicio siempre. Volveríamos mil veces y los dejamos recomendadisimos. Recomendamos también los tours de indio para bioluminiscencia y ver el amanecer en kanoa 10/10

A localização dentro da mata, a vista, a paisagem, o silêncio, o conforto, a recepção, o atendimento do anfitrião foi super atencioso, preocupado com o nosso bem estar e conforto. La atención de los anfitriones (Indio y Agustina) fue excelente, muy atenta y cálida. El lugar es muy lindo, tranquilo y está en medio de la selva.

La caminata puede ser cansadora, pero vale la pena. Además, el anfitrión, Indio, siempre está atento para dar una mano con lo que haga falta.

Ilha Grande sempre foi nossa vontade, e que bom que encontramos a casa do Índio como hospedagem. Preço justo e numa loca

Quarto espaçoso, muito limpo e aconchegante. A receptividade do hóspede (Índio) fez a diferença e a boa conversa da Mayra também. Todos bem gentis, e prestativos para o que precisasse. A cozinha bem equipada e limpa, e o ambiente na floreta, trazendo calma e silêncio, fez com o que nossa estadia fosse incrível.

O único ponto seria o barulho dos hóspedes de cima, creio que não das pessoas, mas sim do piso. Talvez pelo o lugar ser bem silencioso, então a qualquer mínimo passo dos hóspedes de cima, ouvia-se no nosso quarto.

Indio y Agus están muy pendientes de que estés cómodo y no te falte de nada. La comunicación con ellos es súper rápida y fácil. El alojamiento es muy bonito, tal cual se ve en las fotos. Sin duda, si volvemos a Ilha grande repetiremos :)

A acomodação simplesmente linda , de toda a decoração e o local pensando em todos os detalhes. No quarto tem itens até de primeiros socorros, secador e produtos de limpeza se precisar . Ha uma cozinha no anexo muito boa pra quem quiser usar. Todos muito gentis

Descanso necesario en plena jungla

La ubicación es tranquila, solo sonidos de la naturaleza. Requiere caminar unos 650mts para llegar a las suites. Todos los días bajar y subir el camino no es para vagos. Es bastante empinado. La cama muy cómoda. La cocina con todas las cosas necesarias, check in y out independientes. Buena atención de Agus e Indio para sugerirnos lugares y cosas para solucionar.

Los espejos están a una altura de 1.40 mts del suelo, yo soy alto pero muy incómodos realmente. Justo se rompió nuestro aire acondicionado, tuvimos tres días sin aire, pero con el ventilador podes acomodarte. Nos tocó la habitación de abajo a la derecha, cuando hay huéspedes arriba y caminan se mueve toda la puerta de la habitación, un sonido bastante molesto, habría que solucionarlo, lo hice poniéndole un tope de papel.

Hermosa estadía!

Nos alojamos por 5 noches, en todo momento Agustina e Indio estuvieron sumamente predispuestos a asistirnos en lo que necesitáramos. Agustina coordinó nuestro transfer a la vuelta y nos brindó información muy útil en la ida, también sobre lugares para comer y visitar. El lugar es hermoso, la isla lo es pero el hospedaje sumó muchísimo a que disfrutáramos de la naturaleza y de la belleza del lugar aún más. Sabíamos que para llegar hay que caminar un poco ya que habíamos sido advertidos y lo habíamos leído, pero Indio nos ayudó con el equipaje cuando llegamos (gracias!) y durante el resto de la estadía disfrutamos mucho cada vez que recorrimos ese camino para ir y venir del centro. Sin dudas hizo nuestro viaje más especial aún, nos sentimos afortunados de poder alojarnos en un lugar tan bello y disfrutar de la floresta. Nuestra habitación era preciosa, cómoda, con hermosos detalles y una vista al jardín y la selva. El espacio común en el exterior de las habitaciones también nos gustó mucho, se agradecía llegar después de todo el día afuera y poder sentarse ahí mientras atardecía. En resumen, todo salió perfecto, volveríamos sin duda a hospedarnos allí y lo recomendamos!

Todo funcionó muy bien :) Tal vez podría mejorarse la insonorización de las habitaciones ya que se escuchaba cuando subían otros huéspedes en la escalera o si movían bruscamente algo, pero es simplemente un comentario a fines constructivos ya que en absoluto fue algo que nos afectara significativamente.
