Come and uncover the delights of The Weavers Loft, set within the grounds of a picturesque 19th-century stone mill that is steeped in history and tradition, and the last continuously water driven woollen mill in Wales. It’s nestled in the heart of West Wales on the borders of Ceredigion and Carmarthenshire. This superb apartment is perched on the banks of the River Clettwr with commanding views along the valley below and set within the hamlet of Capel Dewi. With the distant sound of the river rushing along, joyful birdsong throughout the day, and stunning views across open fields down to the river, The Weavers Loft setting could not be more relaxing for holiday guests.
This apartment offers the perfect break for couples and small families to get away and immerse yourselves in the countryside. The open plan living area is flooded with natural light and leads to the galley-style kitchen where you can prepare that special meal. The well-furnished bedroom has been lovingly finished to a good standard and boasts woollen Welsh blankets made at the mill. Enjoy al fresco dining or a morning coffee in the terraced garden.
Cardigan Bay is around a 25-minute drive where you can uncover this stunning coastline with picture postcard coves, sandy beaches and dramatic coastline, and for the sportier guest, there are plenty of outdoor activities available including cycle routes, windsurfing, sailing, kayaking and a canoe centre at Llandysul. Just a few miles further inland, the scenic Teifi Valley offers excellent opportunities for fishing as well as attractions such as the Teifi Valley Railway, the National Wool Museum, the National Coracle Centre and falls at Cenarth. The market town of Cardigan has several arts venues and interesting independent shopping, along with a beautiful castle. Travelling further south, you can visit the coastal resort and famous walled town of Tenby, here you can walk the cobbled streets, enjoy fish and chips on the harbour or enjoy the golden sandy beach. Beach 13 miles.
