Disappointing

The fact that I had somewhere to lay my head at night.

The house was not as advertised. The pictures are clearly a couple of years old that they refuse to update the house was quite dirty with cobwebs in every corner. The stove in the kitchen was absolutely filthy and there was a puddle of water on the counter with a leaky ceiling granted the landlord said somebody was over to fix it upon my arrival even though I booked the whole house only one bed was made apparently because I only checked one guest, but in my experience when you book a property, they clean and prepare the whole property. They only left one towel for the entire day and this towel was more or less less than size of a kitchen cloth. The description said I could help myself to anything in the house. The house was completely empty. There was no soap in the bathroom. They only left me one roll of tissue. I was forced to go and buy another. It was clear that the owner of this property was trying to extract as much value from it without putting any Value back in for the consumer booking it I will not be booking this place again simply for the fact that you get no value for your money. The washing machine/dryer was disappointing as the drying function was not working whatsoever.

Good communication and location, comfortable beds, rats in garden and bad smell in house

Really good communication from the host. Really smooth and easy re: accessing key to get in. Very kindly provided extra linen for the sofa bed. The shower and bath were perfect. The location was nice, only a ten minute walk to the Co-op. The beds were comfortable too.

Very bad smell when we came in the house, we had to open all the windows. The living room was a lot smaller than photos but that was ok. There were very loud rats chewing on the back door in the garden. They weren't in the house but the noise kept us from staying up and enjoying each other's company in the living room or from using the kitchen as much as we liked. This was a real shame because our main purpose of staying in the air b n b as opposed to a hotel was to catch up with another family we hadn't seen in a long time and for the price we would have been better staying in a hotel.

Location was excellent. Very clean. Beds not to soft just about right.

Not much, small stuff easy fixed. Like the bath made creaking noises as it flexed as you stood in it to use the shower. Oven door hit the washing machine door, so you wouldn’t be able to cook and wash your clothes at the same time.

A comfortable Wavertree house with lots of character.

The property was located very close to public transport into the city. It was a very comfortable house with bedrooms on both levels. Walters is exceptional in responding and is making every effort to provide the best property for his guests. Free Parking is directly outside the property and the neighbours are very friendly.

We have no negative things for this stay.

Good, but not what we expected comparing to the price

The property is near the city centre- 7 stops by 79 bus. The owners were very polite. We received messages explaining how to check in and check out. Everything was repainted, and most of the furniture was new. The bathroom looked newly refurbished. The beds were clean and comfortable. I booked this property because I saw excellent reviews. We left the property as was requested: the boiler was turned off, the kitchen facilities- were cleaned after usage, etc.

In general, however, I would have expected slightly better conditions for the money we paid, such as a more sturdy entry door than the three latches and an old-fashioned key inside, as there was a gap between the door and its frame. Also, we were provided with two bath towels only and one hand towel, so we took advantage of the host's offer to search the wardrobe for anything extra we needed. We found a towel for the third member of our family and two hand towels- one had nasty stains. We were provided with an old and used soap in the bathroom, which made us do shopping on arrival. The backyard was littered with cigarette butts and dirty. The kitchen floor and cooker oven could be cleaned, as well. We didn't use the kitchen except to prepare toast and coffee in the mornings.

The perfect home from home.

Firstly communication with the owners has been easy and they are so lovely. The key couldn't have been easier to find. The house is stylish, modern, uncluttered, very clean but so comfy and warm. The beds were so comfortable that we passed out instantly each night. It's a lovely, quiet location. Full kitchen use and everything you could need. Extra pillows and duvets, although we had plenty. I can't speak highly enough. We're already planning our next visit and seeing it as a home from home. Would absolutely advise staying here. Ideally if you drive, if not get a bus timetable as its not far from the bus stop into town.

Sehr netter und zugewandter Gastgeber, nette Nachbarschaft, ruhige Lage, origine Atmosphäre in einer typisch englischen Wohnstraße, gute Schlafqualität

Alles sehr unpersönlich, so gut wie keine Deko oder irgendetwas Wohnliches bei der Einrichtung, Abwasserableitung von Dusche und Toilette bereits bei drei Personen überfordert, schwieriger Erstzugang (gerade so ohne Hilfe geschafft)
