Perfect place to stay for a memorable visit to Liverpool

This is a fantastic location for a visit to Anfield stadium; it’s also very easy to take a bus straight into the centre of town. The house was perfect for our needs.

excellent completely enjoyed visit and property very quiet area hardly saw anyone

location was great quiet when we visited short walk to Nest Cafe for breakfast which owners recommended in their welcome pack at property short walk to bus stop buses was £5.70 for day pass and buses run very regular (visited in May) shops just up road good place to stay and relax price for whole house worked out better for us as 3 of us cheaper than hotel more spacious all facilities there bath ironing board washing machine tv wifi etc

nothing really enjoyed stay only thing for next visit would be to buy tea and coffee and some cleaning bits for washing up and some wipes for cleaning bath after use we later managed to purchase these items from the shop up the road might be worth taking bath towel as well

Comfy place for a short stay

The house was perfect for the price we paid. Good location very close to shops and Anfieild Stadium which we went for. The free parking outside was a bonus. The place felt homely and cosy. The beds were confortable. The host responded quite quickly when we made contact.

The WiFi was problematic but it did not bother us as we just used hot-spot for the TV.

It was clean and homely. Close to the city centre. Every atmosphere catered for e.g heaters, dehumidifier, fan, you name it. Comfortable beds. Highly recommended

Not a deal breaker but bathroom is downstairs. One of our party has mild mobility issues and although manageable, was difficult. Someone with more complex issues may struggle so would be good to mention this in the “about property” Also no wardrobe/hanging space. Potential for rails to be put in cubby spaces, had to use curtain poles and backs of doors to hang up clothes

Awful experience - don't recommend

I give them two points because: 1: it was close to the Anfield stadium 2: the hosts are Liverpool fans

I got sick during my stay because of their ridiculous heating system. The house was very cold when we arrived late in the evening. The heating system is designed in a way that you can only make it work for 3 hours and after that it switches off or keeps the temperature at 18 degrees. The rooms on the second floor (where we slept) barely got heated during our stay. I understand that the hosts would like to reduce costs by not allowing their guests to use the heating system 24/7, but this is ridiculous as the house can't properly heat up for 3 hours before going to sleep. The house was very dirty. I don't think anyone cleaned after their previous guests. There was hair on the towels and in the bath, dirt on the floor, and a very smelly bathroom. To sum up, I do not recommend going there. Next time I am in Liverpool for a game, I'm visiting a hotel where it's clean, and there aren't ridiculous rules for the heating system. P.S. The owners asked me to delete my review for a refund of 42 pounds. I told them that I'm not deleting my review because I want other people to know what they're getting into. Then, they deleted their messages from our WhatsApp convesation, but thankfully I copied the first of them and I'm posting it here. They proceeded to insist on deleting my Booking review, but when they realized I won't delete it for 42 pounds, they tried to cancel my booking with them with a "no-show" reason (a few days after my stay was finished). Perhaps, they thought my Booking review will get deleted automatically if they cancel the booking. Thankfully, this didn't happen, and you can get an idea of what your experience with these people might be. Their response to my review is ridiculous. We've never had any conversation over the phone. And I definitely NEVER told them I added the review just because I was frustrated because of being sick.

Excellently located for a visit to Anfield. The house was nice and tidy and had all the facilities we needed.

Besides football there is not much to see or do around the neighbourhood.

We were in Liverpool for a Liverpool Futbol Club game The location to Anfield Stadium was absolutely perfect! The house was near to grocery stores and dining options as well.

Good position near to Liverpool stadium Near to all of bus stations to go anywhere in Liverpool for shopping or enjoyment Friendly owners and agent Clean house The heating system in the first two nights is not doing well so I called the owner and he kindly came to resolve the problem

My son is a huge LFC fan so was lovely to take him here for his birthday surprise , the mural of Henderson was fabulous and the location was perfect for any LFC fan . I have to say to the house was lovely and clean and the beds where soooo comfortable

Overall we enjoyed our stay and would use the property again.

The property was very close to Anfield Stadium which was the reason for the stay as we had booked a tour of Anfield. The communication from owners was good and we had all the information we needed to arrive, get into the property and enjoy our stay. The beds were really comfortable and the kitchen was fully equiped with everything we needed. The area was quiet during the day and at night and local people were pleasant and polite.

The stairs in the property were incredibly steep so If you have family members with mobility issues, the stairs would have been a real problem.

Great value for money

The house is well maintained and the location is excellent as the city centre is only a short taxi ride away and if you are a football fan Anfield is only a 10 min walk from the property.

I had no reason to dislike anything about the property as l thoroughly enjoyed my stay and the hosts Vikki and Oli made themselves readily available to be contacted should any problems arise.

Really good for a short stay

The house itself was lovely and clean, basics like tea coffee & sugar were left for us which was nice. Asda was a short walk for milk and snacks, A couple of the neighbours gave us directions & were really friendly. Towels that were left for us were a lovely touch, even shampoo conditioner and shower gel were left for us. The lockboxes for the keys are a really good idea! The house had everything we needed for a short weekend stay. Ubers into town were very reasonably priced. The hosts were brilliant at communicating and answered any questions I had promptly and were extremely helpful. Our deposit was returned within 2-3 hours of leaving the property. Perfect hosts!

The single bed in the larger bedroom was hard and uncomfortable, the other beds were super comfy though! The bath was very slippy, could perhaps do with either a handrail to steady yourself when getting out or a non slip mat inside.

Accommodation is spacious, smart TV provided gives extra entertainment.

The toilet shower is difficult to adjust the perfect temperature, it’s either too hot or too cold. The sink in the toilet with separate heating taps is weird too, could be perfect with a single tap adjusting temperature.
