The Corran

Great location with parking and easy walk into town. Pauline the Host was exceptionally helpful with a lovely personality. The grounds and house and breakfast were all wonderful. I would stay here again.

Lovely location. Pauline couldn’t have been more helpful. We were mid 233mile charity bike ride and requested porridge for breakfast, she was straight on it. Bloody lovely

The welcome from Pauline was wonderful. The food delicious, location walking distance into town. Easy to find. Had a delivery sent to the accommodation too. Pauline has been very helpful. She was full of advice about eateries etc. Room was spacious, showers hot, bed very comfy. Had use of the fridge for our chilled stuff, very useful. Plenty of plug sockets and usb chargers for phones etc. we were in the old Surgery room downstairs. It's been great to stop here and will come again when in the area.

Not that we didn't like it, but the entrance to the B&B is narrow and needing care. Wider vehicles might struggle. Our vehicle Toyota Alphard was ok.

The Corran is situated in a lovely village/town called Lochgilphead and acts as a good base for travelling around the surrounding area. The Corran is an older building that retains many of it's interior features which is nice to see. Best of all was the host, Pauline Marshall. She really makes the place with her good humour, banter, brilliantly cooked breakfast and her "Angelic" singing voice. We have already booked to go back next year as it was that good. I would recommend the Corran to anyone.
