It wasn’t a bad apartment but if these problems were resolved it be worth the money I paid
It was nice modern apartment
Bed broke as I laid on it. Tv unit wasn’t stable. Bathroom wasn’t very clean in place like sink, the loo and shower, bedroom side cabinet had greggs paper bag with a used condom wrapper, kitchen the unit door was dirty. No code for WiFi. Loads of place were dusty

Good place to stay once I’d cleaned. Lots to do in surrounding area easily accessed by train
Quiet, good location very close to bus routes. Small supermarket close by
Grubby. Hadn’t seen a vacuum cleaner in weeks. I needed to clean the kitchen and bathroom before use. Bed clean, though. Smell of cigarettes. Fire extinguisher missing. No instructions for rubbish, wifi, local info, etc. Unwelcoming messages to enter the property, no staff to meet us as advertised.

Recommended peacefull place at Reading
My wife and I, we stayed here for one week and we really appreciate it and can surely recommend for others. The location seems perfect for us: calm, clean area at some distance from the main street that is rather busy. The shopping is 5-10 minutes walk (Tesco Express, Local shop, M&C, Liedl...). Our trip to London was very simple: 5 mins to rich the bus stop; 10 mins by bus to rail station and fast train (25 mins) to London Paddington. The owner is very supportive and responds fast: we arrived at about 11pm local time and could be able to communicate together while check-in. The apartment itself is very nice, well furnitured, clean, pleasant fresh view, all necessary equipment in the kitchen. Bathroom is spacious, shower stall is clean, hot water, towels, slippers... all in place. For those who cares of unexpected "friend" in your room: we didn't met any insects or smth like this here - perfect. Wifi worked stable - no any issues.
There are still some points for fast improvements: we didn't use kettle to boil water because it was completely in scum (1 min microwave helped)); the front door (at the house entrance) creaked; and from time to time there was some slight smell in the room that was easily removed with opened windows. and the carpet in the bedroom is definitely clean but has numerous spots. For us, those issues are not critical and did not spoil the overall extremely positive attitude to this place.

Pleasant
Location is great mostly because the transport system is quite well structured and efficient. Space was also good, spacious room, kitchen, living room and bathroom. Bedding and towels provided were clean and tidy.
Cleanliness: counters had grease marks, oven tray was extremelly dirty with burnt residue from previous uses that I was not even able to scrub off, toaster as well, had to clean it myself since the the amount of leftover crums in the tray that had not been cleaned from previous tenants would burn and made the alarm go off when I first tried to make toast! Pots, pans and dishes all had to be washed before use since they were greasy.

The basket with food in on arrival was a lovely touch. Fantastic location which suited both of us as I was working in Reading and my partner in Oxford.
