About this house rental
Enjoy a conveniently located ranch style private home within walking distance to charming downtown Carbondale. (License # 014186). Minutes to two golf courses and tennis clubs; and only 30 minutes to 4 World Class Ski Mountains (Aspen, Aspen Highlands, Snowmass and Buttermilk). The historic town of Glenwood Springs, with the infamous Hot Springs Pool and Adventure Caverns/park is only 15 minutes drive away as well as numerous mountain biking and hiking trails.
An open living/dining area allows plenty of space for privacy as well as meals and gatherings. The Master bedroom has a king size bed and stand up shower with 2 shower heads and 2 individual sinks; Second bedroom has a queen bed, desk set and a full bath with tub/shower and 2 sinks, open to the main living room for guest access. The third bedroom has a Queen bed with a private bathroom with stand up shower and sink.
Enjoy cooking in our modern spacious kitchen with 2 stoves and updated amenities. The kitchen bar can fit 3, and the dining room table can fit 8 comfortably. The private back yard is fully fenced in with lots of shade, a private hot tub (fits 4-6 comfortably), as well as a dining table for six, and a solo stove option with complimentary firewood.
Enjoy our 4 fruit trees (cherry, plum, apple, and pear) in the summer season & pick and eat as many as you'd like !(seasonal). Front and back porches allow plenty of space to relax and enjoy lawn games and allow room for children to play. Plenty of board games and books available for your enjoyment during your stay. The upstairs "bonus room" is a good room for a "kid's cubby" or a reading space or for a game of cards!

We were here for a work trip. The house was perfect for the three of us. Loved the snacks that were provided and the hot tub. The location was great! I enjoyed being close to the golf course and walking the trail close by.

We loved the neighborhood with fun walks to town and along Crystal river. The property had a sweet backyard.
The updated bathrooms and kitchen lured me in but this place did not deserve the high nightly price. While things were basically cleaned there was deep grime and dog hair in places you definitely don't want to see it. Greasy pans. Filthy dish drainer. The couches and beds were mushy. The master bed had 2 deep troughs in it. The bath towels and mats were old and stained. Super bad smell in fridge and freezer. Cat or dog pee smell some places. Yuck!
