Not bad for a short stay

Great central location close to city centre and all amenities.

- Had to make our own sofa bed - Internet stopped working after one night, had to put the dongle on and off - The water pressure in the showers is low - Cleaner was late due to a problem at another flat (as I was told), was told I would get a £30 refund but not recieved anything yet.

Perfect for us!

Location, ease of access, facilities were great! Comfortable beds, cosy rooms and had everything we needed and more for our one night stay.

Pressure very poor in the showers. Freezing cold on arrival, but plenty of heaters were scattered around the apartment for us to warm the place up.

It was a perfect location for our night in Liverpool, within walking distance to all the items on our to do list!

It was within walking distance to the things we wanted to do. It was clean and tidy, in a secure building, and the beds were comfortable

There wasn’t any parking, so needed to locate this separately, although options were provided by the host. It was also cold when we arrived, so needed to turn on the heaters…these did warm up fairly quickly

Apartment was fine for our short stay, however if the noise at night would bother you, maybe choose somewhere else.

Good location, within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go. Ample space for us.

A bit tired, the building as a whole was a bit tired, bags of linen and waste in the foyer area all weekend. Obviously down to the cleaners and not the apartment owner. Extremely small lift, only two people plus small case could get in there at a time. Very noisy at night, but to be expected in the centre of city, didn’t bother me too much.

Good location but wouldn’t book again

Good location. Good communication from host/owner.

Needs some TLC. Carpet was stained, skirting boards grubby, several lights not working. Something to be aware of….upstairs en suite bathroom is above the kitchen, a sort of mezzanine. There is zero privacy. Being able to have a full conversation with others in the group who were in the kitchen, whilst using the toilet was a little unnerving. Felt a little damp and cold when we arrived but there are a couple of wall heaters and other plug in radiators which helped. But with very high ceilings, there were still parts that were cold throughout our stay. Location was central, which is positive, but directly across the road from a bar that is open until 2am with a DJ. Very noisy on a Saturday night! If you like shouting, drunk people, and thumping music, this is the place for you. Enough room for the three of us but not much sofa space to relax. Parking a bit of a nightmare. Ended up in a bus lane trying to get close enough to a safe car park. Used NCP £21 overnight. Street parking is ok if you don’t mind getting up to buy a ticket at 8am.

Convenient location Two double rooms with two bathrooms, perfect for colleagues. Good facilities. Excellent quick communication from host at all times.

Great location, clean and perfect for a city stay

Brilliant location, excellent communication by the host. The apartment was clean and perfect for our trip. Appreciated the sweets, tea, coffee etc that were left for us. Would definitely recommend.

If I’m being picky the water pressure in both of the showers was poor but probably not a lot can be done due to it being an old building. Water was hot which was the main thing.

Requires improvement to offer a pleasant stay

The position of the apartment. The communication with host was quick and responsive (despite not ensuring our request was catered to with cleaners). We were able to drop our bags into the apartment earlier than check in time (we were at a wedding).

The noise of the boiler in the bedroom. Unable to switch off and kept us awake all night. The sofabed was not set up despite requesting this be done twice and in accordance with a request to notify them. The apartment was clean but very tired and in need of repair in places (door handles close to coming off which would leave you stuck when they do as heavy fire doors too). The sink in the bathroom was blocking up. It felt stuffy with stale air. We were unable to open the windows to let air in. The bathroom is off the upstairs bedroom so if you need the toilet in the middle of the night and staying in the other bedroom you are waking everyone up to get to it due to creaky heavy fire doors. Overall everyone had one of the worst sleeps in a place they've ever stayed in so sadly would not recommend.

Very happy I chose to book this property.

The property was very central and easy 12 min walk from Lime Street station. Plenty of options for food, drinks and convenience stores in the area. Rooms were a good size so did not feel crammed in and everything need for comfortable stay was available. Comfortable bed so had a great sleep with no noise heard from within the building and all was quiet outside as well. Excellent comms from host and would be more than happy to book property again.

Location was superb. Flat spacious and furbished. Host responsive (except when partial refund requested)

No hot water for the duration of our stay! Unacceptable. Partial refund requested - unresponsive Wrong entrance code - unable to access building unless people were going in and out. Right one on day 2. No lift for 2-nd floor appartement for the duration of the stay. Building in a poor state.

3 night stay in Liverpool

The location was excellent and the apartment was clean with comfortable beds.

First of all, the lifts didn't work which meant us 4 women in our 70s found ourselves climbing 59 stairs each time we went out. The flat is a bit tired and could do with a fresh coat of paint. Handles on doors were loose and beading round the floor is broken. There was no microwave and the air fryer which was there was not the right tool for everything we wanted to cook. Both pieces of equipment would be good.Storage space was minimal. The water pressure in the upstairs shower room was an issue. Blinds would be better than the inadequate curtains.

Fantastic location and amenities

The property was so clean and had everything we needed it felt like a home from home. All kitchen equipment, towels, extra bedding, shower gel and shampoo were there for us. The location was fantastic, two minutes walk to the beatles statue and two minutes walk from city centre/ cavern quarter. Our room was at the end of the corridor so it was quiet at night and we had a really peaceful sleep in the very comfy beds. Communication was excellent from our host who answered questions promptly and was helpful to us when we asked for things to do around the city.

We had a small issue with the water on our arrival but the host was fantastic and helped us immediately. The lift was also out of order for our entire stay and as I had my elderly Dad with me with health issues it was a problem for us. Although we understand this is not the fault of out host we would’ve liked to have been warned to have been given the option to find somewhere else. Overall we cannot complain, as we enjoyed our stay and felt very looked after by our host.

Very adequate for 1-2 nights but no comfortable lounging area negates it being used for any longer.

It was close to the area in Liverpool we needed to be.

The place was clean enough, and adequate for one night, but there is no lounge for 4-6 people to sit. The very small lounge houses the two spare beds and a dining table so no comfy seating to relax in after an evening out. If it is cold you need to plug the radiators in before going out as it takes a couple of hours to warm up, they are only small plug in radiators.

This was my 3rd time in an apartment stay in Liverpool. I can say without reservation that the Unionbank serviced apartment is head and shoulders above the competition. The location is perfect and easy to find, it’s a 10 minute walk from Lime St station. The apartment was spacious and immaculately clean with all the amenities we could want. I dealt online with Nina at the venue and she could not do enough for us. She arranged an earlier check in and a later check out to coincide with changing train times, I expected additional cost but it was done for free. It’s a shame that competing venues do not have staff members like Nina, life would be so much easier!
