The most awful place I've ever stayed

Friendly staff. New shower in the room, however is was small inside

Dirt was everywhere (door handles, floor, walls, etc.). There was no sound insulation in the room. There were big cracks between the door and the door frame. I wish I had never looked under the sheet — the mattress was covered in stains. The intercom at the entrance had broken buttons, so it was not possible to get inside the first time. I don't know why this hostel has a 7.5 rating. My score is 2.0. After the first night, we had to find another apartment for the remaining days.

Construction at the next building and at the street. From 7h30 starting noise of transport and machines, a lot of dust entering the apartment. Entrance door could be opened only with the key, and it is only one for all people.

The room part of an apartment. Having small children we booked the room With private bathroom. There were other 4 rooms and 2 common toilets. However, every guest was nice and quite all very respectful. I hope my babies cries in the middle of the night were not heard! The owner was very prompt in assisting us with the AC as we couldn't get it running. But this was fixed in like 15 minutes from Arriving. We needed a fridge for some medicine. It was clean it was present and we appreciated this facility very much The apartment is close to a pharmacy, market place, bfast place, bus stops that take you anywhere you'd like. With kids having these locations close are essential! For a family with grown kids this place is actually good.

Having a baby means we would have a pram. I do belive that this is sort of obvious. I would have appreciated knowing that there are stairs and no lifts or no safe place to leave the pram. My husband went up and down the stairs at least 2-4-6 times a day with it so we don't leave anything in the middle. If I were alone I would have had to change my staying ending up stranded. Yes all guests are advice to keep the window closed due to the cats. I actually saw the cat in the small garden in the dark. Just waiting. I belive that the doors should all be closed at night even the one taking you outside to the chill area. The cat comes in from there. I picked up the rubbish 2-3 times then I just gave up. I always take own detergent to wash clothes. I couldn't find any maybe I didn't look well enough. There is a construction proximal to the apartment and the tumble dryer is full of dust. Something subjective, maybe it's a cultural habitual thing but the mattresses were really hard. It felt like we sank in them and just couldn't move. Our eldest changed bed every day. But this is very subjective.

The property far from the nearest metro station and 30 minutes walk from the centre of Valencia. Rooms are not ensuite.

It was too noisy in the hallway at night until 3 am! Apparently someone lives there permanently. The area is not nice and it is hard to find a parking place.

Very good

The places were cleaned regularly by the staff (every one/two days), the metro and tram stops were within 15 minutes by foot. The owner has been super friendly and provided us with valuable info to get around Valencia and visit nice places. Would recommend, absolutely worth it.

Ants are quick to flood the kitchen if food is left unsealed, so watch out for that but no other big deal. Also, the washing machine stops working after a certain hour so make sure to do them during the day.

Shared accommodation with AirBnb vibes

The check-in via WhatsApp worked well and an earlier check-in was possible. However the details how to check in were only provided after I contacted and asked about them. The air conditioning and the WiFi worked well and the bed was ok.

There were ants, and possibly rats, in the shared kitchen. There were no electrical outlets in the bathrooms for hair drying etc and no mirror in the room. The street outside the window was very noisy and the doors when someone else comes in are quite loud, so I would recommend earplugs.

Good place to stay for a great price

The room was a nice size, the price was very good. The place was clean to a very high standard. The air conditioning was a huge bonus for us. Having a kitchen was good.

I am a light sleeper, and despite all the positives of this place, if you are a light sleeper I probably wouldn't recommend this. When the ground floor door of the building closes, it rattled our bedroom door, when other people closed their doors it rattled our Door, maybe this was unique to our room and not the 4 other rooms, however the noise meant we got less than half the sleep we normally get on a regular night. The traffic outside is louder than average for València, but honestly we got used to the traffic and it wasn't an issue for us. The pillow for the bed was one long pillow and not two pillows for a double bed, which might be a problem for some people. The lighting was a little bit too harsh in the room, we personally would have liked a side lamp but I'm really "grasping at straws" at this stage. Besides those points, the place was to a high standard

A 'Pedrotastic' Stay for the Lads in Valencia

Expectations were exceeded for this price point, we were really treated well by Pedro. Rooms were nice and had everything you need, and clean. Location had fairly good access to the city center and anything else nearby.

That we didn't get to spend more time with Pedro. It was crowded at times and somebody stole our pizza, to no fault of the owner. I'm still not over that betrayal. If you stay here, make sure you secure your pizza as other guests can be cheeky little pizza thieves.

Almost in half an hour after we showered with the facility's soap and we get to our beds we felt itchy in our legs and arms. Possibly acarea cause we asked some other guests the next morning and they said the same. Sheets were so old. Clean or not makes no difference. Spend some money to buy new HOTEL sheets. The extra two beds had terrible mattresses. Room had a small window with no safety bars. Some kid can easily fall off. Most room doors are so screeching...annoying. I guess they have no oil or WD40 liquid in Valencia. Lastly, Bathroom Ight won't turn off untill it decides on its own.
