Warm as usual. The warm and friendly welcome back from Dylan. It was nice to see Valentina growing in her job since we met back n November to know. Congrats! Also good to see Nina. Valentina really took care of me with the bed placement. Felt like I had my own corner. They really make Valencia feel like I am returning home. I have been visiting this hostel since 2019 and serveral times since. I do Airbnbs, when I do a hostel, this is the place to be. No other hostel like River! <3

Paella night needs a person to ALWAYS distribute it. It's limited and people will help themselves with no consideration for the long one waiting for a taste. In the past the previous staff learned that. That is a good recommendation going forward ;). I ended up getting Paella from the market place coz I missed out :)

Location of the property was great, very close to city center and also close to wonderful Turia gardens. Staff were super polite. Bed was comfortable, it was in advance given to you when you come, you can't choose it. It was super clean and quiet. Me as a solo traveler girl felt super safe as they have 24h reception open. Breakfast was also very good.

We had some big bugs in the room, which made us a bit stressed. Also, I need to replace my bracelet for the room opening 2 times as it didn't work.

The location is good, was easy to get there

Super strange vibes, common aera was weird just a lot of guys on their phones drinking beer and talking loudly, not very friendly. Was stuffy and not the bubbly hostel atmosphere I read about here. staff mostly at the front desk and very helpful when approached but other then that not really engaged with the people which for me is the main job of the hostel volunteers. Bed was dirty when I arrived and the mattresses are super dodgy so they sink in the middle. The dorms are next to a construction site..
