Not the best for solo travel

The location is good, was easy to get there

Super strange vibes, common aera was weird just a lot of guys on their phones drinking beer and talking loudly, not very friendly. Was stuffy and not the bubbly hostel atmosphere I read about here. staff mostly at the front desk and very helpful when approached but other then that not really engaged with the people which for me is the main job of the hostel volunteers. Bed was dirty when I arrived and the mattresses are super dodgy so they sink in the middle. The dorms are next to a construction site..

Fine for 1-2 days if you only want to sleep there and spend the rest of your time outside.

The location was great, it's right next to the park and it's relatively quiet at night even though it's placed in a very central location. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Also I had my flight back at 7am and I managed to get there on time with the metro, the station is at a 10ish min walk from the hostel which was very nice.

Overall the hostel building feels like an Eastern European school summer camp if you know what I mean :D It's not bad at all but if you're expecting a cosy atmosphere on the dorm floors, you should go elsewhere. All commodities and facilities are at a very very basic level but it is kind of expected considering the low price you pay.

Perfect for solo travellers

I really liked that all the staff were friendly, and this positive attitude also reflected on the guests, creating a very pleasant atmosphere. The kitchen was well equipped, so I could always cook something for myself. I also appreciated that the beds had curtains, which gave you privacy. The location was perfect – right in the park and directly in the city center.

The cleanliness in the kitchen and bathroom was not always guaranteed, but of course that is difficult to maintain in a hostel.

Good but..

Location and price, and we got to leave our bags even after checking out!

Due to personal traumas, I specifically booked for an all-female room(which was a few euros more) but I somehow ended up sharing it with a man. The 2 other ladies with me were confused too bc they thought they booked for an all female room. Anyway, I didnt mention it to the reception as I only stayed for a night.

Very clean, fantastic location, one of the best hostels for sure!

The front desk controls your AC, which they shut off in the morning and if you’re not aware of that, so therefore you don’t tell them to turn it back on your room is boiling. Eventually, you will see a sign that says do you want us to turn on the AC, please text us here. But because you’re not planning on that it’s a big disappointment when you come to your room and you’re looking to be cooled off and you have to wait an hour for your room to cool off! If you book an air-conditioned room, it should be air-conditioned all the time. Considering we were in a eight bed dorm with everyone having their own schedule. I don’t see how the front desk should be turning the AC off at all. There’s no way to predict everyone’s daily schedule. The other bad point to our room is the fan didn’t work so even when we got there and realized the room was boiling hot. We couldn’t even turn on the fan to have hot air blowing on us until the AC cooled the room down. They promised to have it fixed the next day and it wasn’t. They did offer compensation for this but we just wanted a cool room and asked if we could be switched to another room but they were booked. If it wasn’t for them, controlling the AC and not having maintenance staff on hand to fix something that breaks in a reasonable timeframe, we would have really enjoyed this place, as it is a nice hostel.

It was not one of my pleasant stays sadly, maybe because of weather at the time ….

My personal lock 🔐 which I provided to lock 🔒 the draw was broken into the first night and it was replaced with another lock. I found this very strange and I have a feeling that it was actioned by one of the staff. Because when I reported it to the receptionist, there were no surprises by the staff at the desk. They just pulled the bolt cutter which was readily available came to the room and broke the lock and they gave me another lock.

Best nightshift

The best night shift ever thanks to Juan always being kind and at the reception the whole night!! The location is perfect and the room is totally fine as well as the showers. I really enjoyed it. I haven’t cooked so no comment on that.

A disastrous stay marked by mold, lack of basic bedding, and drilling inches from my face at 9 a.m.

The mold on the walls, the absence of blankets with no staff available to help, and being woken up by construction work inside my room early in the morning. An absolutely unacceptable experience.

Laidback, affordable place to stay in the center

Amazing value for money even when you add the breakfast buffet. They have a good guest kitchen and common areas. The pod style beds are comfy and offer lots of privacy. The location next to the river/park and the historical center is perfect for first time visitors

I travel with a bicycle, and the hostel is not cyclist friendly because they don't allow you to store bikes inside. I had to leave my bike out on the street overnight and pray that it would be secure. I recommend the Dutch staff members to discuss out loud, in public, about guests and persons that they work with. You never know who in the room can understand you and it doesn't appear very professional.

Well located, clean and safe hostel

Clean and quite spacious room. Bed with curtains for privacy. Friendly staff and people in the hostel, I felt safe. Big luggage space. Hair dryer and straightener in the shower room. The location is great, close to the main historic points in the city.

Only 2 sinks in the toilet and there was waiting line in the morning to use them. The room was very hot.

It is one of the best and cheap hostel where I went... we had a special price compared to other nights cause we did a last minute booking. The staff was really friendly (a special thank you to the Italian girl at the reception). The bed and the facilities excellent.

Nice location

in one of the rooms, they were really noisy neighbors, who were drunk and listening to very loud music almost at midnight. It took a while to find the receptionist and calm them down. but overall first night was ruined.

Great stay!

Everything was awesome! The stuff was very polite, fluent in multiple languages, very helpful and had a super nice vibe! It was an absolute gem to stay there! I will come back every time I’m in Valencia! Thank you!

Nothing really to tell. The mattress could have been a little more comfortable but it is a hostel and not a fancy hotel. So everything was great! Nothing to dislike here.
