Handy little place to discover Honfleur

Good location, only 5 mins walk from the center of Honfleur. Our hostess gave us lots of good tips for our time in the town. Great value for money.

On street public parking was limited and quite expensive, but the whole of Honfleur is like that.

The facilities in the room are excellent and the parking on the road outside the property was easy, but not sure if this would always be the case. Would have give the property a 10 but the stairs are very tight when carrying a suitcase.

We were on the second floor and the staircase is steep and narrow.

All Mod Cons

I know the flat is modern but practicality has to play it's part. The basin in the bathroom wax so small you being useless, do no good for shaving, cleaning teeth or even washing hands without spilling water everywhere. The shower is brilliant, but clearly there is already water damage on the skirting boards, which o doubt will become an ongoing issue. The WC constantly smelt as the waste disposal was not functioning to its best. The steps down from the bed are lethal!

Perfect location

The building and room was very charming and located in a quiet street. It was a really easy walk to the restaurants and shops which was great. The hosts were really kind and gave lots of great recommendations and their communication was very good.

The room smelt quite musty and damp which wasn’t nice, and it was a struggle to air it. It was a bit hot at night too but we couldn’t open the windows for security. There was also some building work going on outside that we weren’t aware of.

The owners were nice!

The room was not at all as on the picture. The room was on the street, facing garbage bins and super humid. We couldn’t open windows at night as anyone could enter in the room from the street but there was no AC. On top of this, there was no cleaning service during our stay.

Great location for short stay

Comfortable rooms and great location for exploring Honfleur. The host provided tea, butter and jam so we just had to get the croissants! Rooms were clean and parking on the street nearby was possible.

Slight issue with push button on toilet cistern (flagged up by previous visitor) but was repaired quickly while we were there. Good interaction with the host on both this and check-in.

- The location is excellent, it's only a short walk to the town centre. - Joanne was very welcoming and gave us a lot of tips for our stay. - The bathroom is very comfortable and has a great shower. - The mattress was very comfortable. - There is a fridge and a kettle and Joanne had provided us with some basics.

- The room was sober and less cosy than expected, probably because things had been removed because of covid. - The roof is very low, so there is a high chance of head bumping. - It would have been good to know in advance that you have to climb narrow stairs with your belongings. - According to Booking.com, this is a bed & breakfast. Unfortunately, there was no breakfast.
