The caravan park is within waking distance to the beach. It’s a beautiful and quiet location. The caravan was clean and comfortable with good facilities. Plead cookware and dishes etc as well as bedding and linens but do bring towels, dish towels, hair dryer! The staff are friendly too. The reception also sells essentials. There’s a pub, fish and chips take away, coffee shop, pharmacy and off license in the village!

Apparently the wifi (which you can purchase at reception) isn’t very strong. We didn’t get it and made do with mobile data but even that isn’t great due to the village being in a bit of a valley. But manageable

Great stay near the beach

The location is perfect - you are directly at the beach. The park offers some fields for playing and the caravan was clean and more spacious than I had anticipated. It's not big, but for a family of 4 (including 2 small kids) big enough.

The beds were not super comfortable. The beds in the kids bedroom were very small. It was fine for our kids age 6&8, but if they would be a bit bigger, I'm not sure if it would have been ideal. I also missed having outdoor furniture (not included), but you can bring these from home or buy chairs at the park shop (or at the camping shop close by)

Nice well positioned site

Location was lovely Site was nice

Van was nice, but cleaning wasn't the best. We needed to wash everything before using it. Staff on the morning of leaving were quite rude, as the paper work they gave us said leaving at 10am, which we did but we're then told we should of been out at 9 and they were waiting for us to leave!

Great location for a caravan site.

The site was exceptionally neat and tidy. Only minutes to the sea and Charmouth itself. In Charmouth there are two lovely pubs, a bakers, fish and chips/pizza and cafe, plus a local shop and pharmacy all within a 5 minutes walk.

The caravan, was clean, but was tired, with a minimum supplied. Totally bare with no extras included. A previous caravan had, bath mat, towels, washing up liquid, toilet cleaner, outside chairs etc etc this had nothing. This was disappointing.

A very relaxing holiday in a lovely area

Well equipped, clean caravan. Great base for exploring and visiting the area. Clean, we-kept site with friendly, helpful staff.

The shower drainage wasn’t good and should have been seen/picked up on when the caravan was cleaned previous to our arrival. The WI-FI was expensive - £20 for each device for the week. Fairly noisy at night, with cars leaving at 10:30pm

It's right near the beech just a few minutes walk..the caravans r tidy it's a nice quiet friendly site and the staff are fabulous!!

The staff were very friendly and helpful The site was very well maintained and clean there were a couple of food vans that came on late afternoon fish and chips one day pizza the next wasn't too bad on price the fish and chips were excellent we have booked again to stop in July

Very Friendly Staff and Well maintained Holiday Park

Very efficient friendly check in makes you settle straight away and get your holiday head on. The caravan was clean and everything as expected. The site is very well maintained and has a relaxed vibe. You walk out across the rear lawned area to the Sea sp perfect. There is the Heritage museum with Beach Cafe, couple of food / drink ice cream vans.. Shop on site is well stocked and has beach stuff. Simply walk out of the site to Charmouth in 10 minutes.. 2 Pubs, Chippy, Niss local etc We enjoyed our stay and watching the pleasure of kids simply playing on the beach, families relaxing without noise and mobiles

Only thing I noticed was sides of hob cupboards a bit sticky, needed a bit more elbow grease. Didn’t worry us but only mentioned in case it upset another holiday maker

Perfect location for a week by the sea

Fabulous location -short walk to sea and village. Beautiful area so quite and peaceful . Caravan was in great condition - basic but everything we needed. Staff so very friendly.

More hooks would be nice as limited on what could be hung up.

Our stay at Seadown park

loved the location and the village of Charmouth

The sofy furnishings in the caravan smelt strongly of dog and the bathroom smelt of damp. WiFi very poor and very pricey hence we didn't purchase any. staff member agreed that it was too poor for streaming or sharing photos.

Near to the sea. Very close to my family as they live near.

Only problem, lack of hooks on backs of doors ie bedrooms and bathroom. Nowhere to hang towel or clothes in especially bathroom.

Great location, 5 min walk to beach from site, which is private, cafe on beach, transport, pubs, caravan site well maintained. Staff friendly. Caravan good with parking alongside van. Village, 5 mins walk away to 2 pubs serving food. Bus routes to Lyme & Weymouth reasonably priced and short trips, excellent bus service.

The break I needed - a stones throw to the beach

Seadown holiday Park is beautifully located by the beach, the vans are clean and modern. There’s a laundrette and camp shop on site and a short walk from Charmouth village. The staff at Seadown are friendly and make the stay a pleasant one.

The weather was a bit pish this time but even that didn’t spoil it really. It’s just a lovely break.

Lovely location but other things could have been improved

The location was fantastic as it was just a short stroll to the fabulous beach alongside the river. Ideal if you have children! It's also only a short walk into the village to buy provisions or go out for dinner. There was a good amount of green space on site too and we liked the ducks, which my boys enjoyed feeding!

We'd liked to have had an outdoor seating area and made more aware that no extras such as bath mats, tea towels would be provided. But our main dislike was the length of the double bed and duvet not being long enough. My husband and I are quite tall (I'm 5ft 10) and found that the length of the duvet was quite a bit too short and we then ended up cold in the night. The bed was short too, but if the duvet had been longer then this wouldn't have been a problem. There were a couple of dogs not kept under control either....one came along and ripped a plastic bag that was holding our beach stuff and another one came along and 'weed' on the gas cannisters whilst we were outside.

We had a very relaxing short break in a lovely location.

The caravan was very comfortable and well equipped. The location was excellent, with Charmouth beach only a short walk across an area of well kept grass. We were pleased to be able to use the local bus service for our visit to Lyme Regis.

Brilliant location , friendly and welcoming staff , Loved the food van visits. Mobile home big , clean , light and quiet, we had a lovely visit and will hopefully come again.

The Mobile home got very cold at night in the bedrooms + bathroom as there is only one gas heater in the living room.

Could do with a bath mat and maybe someone to check the caravan before it’s handed over, I had to tighten up the screws on my bed before using it because it was rocking before I even got on it.

The location is brilliant next to the beach. Free parking for your car next to the caravan. Nice site shop. Very peaceful.

For the money we paid, the caravan looked a bit run down. The shower cubicle leaked, and some of the furniture was damaged. There were no bin bags provided or washing up liquid or any cleaning materials.

Loves the quietness of the parks the location is excellent to the beach and the small town. It has a shop which sells everything you might need that you have forgotten and the pop up food vendors are great.

The beds are in need of a little updating just to make it more comfortable. It had been tidied but we felt that stains and marks on the walls and windows could be tackled. The bathroom was tidy but had bits of tissue on the floor. The extra pillows didn’t have pillow cases.
