The location is unbeatable! Safe, quaint and quiet, yet around the corner is the cafe, church, shops, and main attractions. You have a private parking space outside the door. The modern kitchen is adequately equipped (no microwave though). The bathroom are modern. I liked having a 1/2 bathroom next to the bedroom upstairs. The shower is downstairs in a 3/4 bath. The bedroom is comfortable and there are different blankets available. No neighbors above or below, so it's quiet and the street is barely used at 5 MPH speed limit. Outdoor space is lovely off the upstairs balcony or lower patio ground level. It's very cute inside.

If you are traveling with others (I was solo), there is no door between the primary and secondary bedroom, so no privacy there. No problem if you're using one room or have small children. Veronika doesn't take credit cards. She will ask for a money transfer, which freaked me out. I almost canceled, and I am so glad I didn't. I expressed concern, and she agreed to take PayPal or cash on arrival, which is good faith on her part that you show up. She is the nicest person. This is a legitimate request. Stay here! It's a fairy tale, and I didn't want to leave.

The owners were quick to respond to all our questions before Check-in, and provided a contact number if we needed anything. What we did not like is we were never met and shown the property, it was all accomplished by "key box" would have been nice to have a tour of the apartment, and how the heat, stove ect work the small things that one might have. Overall it was a very good experience.

The only thing that I would beware of if you have small children are the stone tiles and steep stairs. My son was constantly trying to hang from the stair railing. However, not a reason to not take the house. You just have to be careful with small children. Das Einzige, worauf ich achten würde, wenn man kleine Kinder hat, sind die Steinfliesen und die steile Treppe. Mein Sohn hat ständig versucht, sich am Treppengeländer festzuhalten. Das ist aber kein Grund, das Haus nicht zu mieten. Man muss mit kleinen Kindern einfach vorsichtig sein.
