Hostal Monte Carmelo

The staff was excellent! The simple breakfast was delicious and the location is close enough to walk to town with no problems. They had reasonably priced laundry services. The room was cleaned daily and extremely comfortable.

The hot water took a couple minutes to get hot in the shower.

Buena relación calidad precio, el personal amable y dispuesto, nos ayudo en todo momento.. Tenía parking privado sin necesidad de reservar, pero era pequeño y el fin de semana nos toco moverlo un par de veces para asegurar el espacio. La habitación tenía un tamaño adecuado y el baño era amplio. Daban servicio de lavandería por un coste por kg.. Tenían servicio diario de limpieza de la habitación y cambio de toallas.

El primer día no funcionaba el agua caliente, luego la arreglaron pero tardaba mucho en salir. Estaría bien que tuviera un armario para colgar camisas o abrigos, ya que solo tenía estantes para ropa doblada. Lavamos ropa y nos dieron un peso más elevado del real, pero tambre es cierto que la cosa se ofreció rápidamente cuando lo cuestionamos a pesarla delante de nosotros y corrigió en precio. Esta un poco alejado del centro, pero bueno por eso también es más barato.

Es grande, cómodo y limpio. El personal es amable y atiende tus necesidades. Esta un poco alejado del centro pero nosotros lo agradecimos por la tranquilidad.

Desayuno un poco escaso.

Room was nice and cosy and the hostal itself is nice. There is a kitchen you can use. Location is nice, a little bit away from the centre, but still at walking distance.

There was absolutely no soundproofing at all. You could hear the noises from the street like you were sleeping there. Same with the noises from the hallways and neighbour rooms. Really unpleasant if you want to go to sleep relatively early. . Neighbour ecuatorian family was taking 2 hour long shower late in the evening - and it sounded like you were in the shower yourself.. I wouldn't recomend this hotel to anyone who wants to get a good sleep and rest in silence. At least not at the weekends when people are coming here to party. Don't come to Baños at weekends unless you want to see crowds of people doing basic stupid partying. Cable channels weren't working at all, just one, others all blurry.
