Amazing stays and husky experiences, unique Lodge Hotel and Bungalows

We had the most amazing experience, the hotel / Lodge is very authentic and offeres very unique services as well as breathtaking nature surrounding. We had an incredible expierence with the Huskys itself making their "Husky Dream" program and will surely come back. It was a dream came true for my wife being in the snow and even more as she loves dogs.

The wifi was a bit slow, breakfast is very basic, i would have loved to have a bigger more complete buffet but still the quality of the food and all is perfect just not much options..

All in all, a perfect stay. I would recommend for individual travelers, families, and especially a romantic getaway.

The lodge is a short drive from the Stoos funicular station. The reception was very kind and the room was very comfortable. Also the breakfast was a very tasty buffet.

Peaceful, clean bungalows in the middle of nature, conditions are very good. The beds are very large and comfortable. The breakfast is very good. Shared bathroom but the room has its own toilet.as It also includes various play areas for children and adults.

The Staff were lovely. The Bungalow with private sauna was top class. The Husky area with Lucia guiding was great.

Definitely a place to visit, stay and eat. We had a great time! We already booked for next year!

The restaurant food was very good, great variety, freshness. The breakfast spread was really good too. The entire team was really friendly and helpful. The hotel layout (different huts) is special and cosy. The location is easy to get to, most of the time a very quiet place. (with exception to the Huskies waking up or feeding time around 5am and 5pm :) :) :) - our hut was very close to the kennels). We stayed 3 nights, we had dinner at the restaurant hotel every night. Dinner started to be served early, around 5:30, which was perfect when traveling with a 4 year old.

Travelling with a 4 year old / winter time, it would have been useful if there was an indoor room/area where the children could play, aside from the accomodation itself. It was possible to do it in the hut, they even provided a set of different board games in the room, but after a while the novelty disappears. :) :) :). This is just a suggestion and not a criticism but there is no other place where to write it.

We loved the Huttenhotel and the dog sledding tour! Highly recommend!

HIGHLY recommend Huttenhotel Husky Lodge. My 15 year old and I spent 2 nights there and took the dog sledding tour. What a fantastic experience! We had an opportunity to get the know the dogs, watch them be fed and we were able to harness them ourselves and load them into their kennel for the trip to the dog sledding trails. They were a ton of fun! The food was the MOST DELICIOUS food we had and we had great food in Switzerland. Breakfast was included and was delicious. Room was typical of a Swiss hotel and was clean and modern. Shower was super easy and very new. The staff was first rate and the dog trainers obviously love what they do and are completely committed to their work and to make sure that everyone is having enjoying themselves and staying safe. There is a bit of a walk from the bus stop to the hotel but we made it in no time. Give yourself 20 minutes when you are heading back to the bus stop.

Very warm feeling place

The cuteness of the location, houses and overall vibe. Modern bathroom and cleaniness. Apple TV on the room. We had a fantastic breakfast and also had dinner there, food was great. View amazing

The rooms were only a little noisy. That is because we had a door in between the rooms (to make them bigger when you book them for a family) but because of this when you just book a regular room they can be noisy. And on one side there is this company that works with wood, which kind of ruins the view in my opinion. And they were building, but all of that is understandable!

Top Swiss family holiday & Husky dog lover experience.

What a unique and active family holiday in a stunning location. Superb staff at the hotel reception and in the restaurant. We were impressed by the warmth, attentiveness & professional attitude everywhere. The food was excellent, as they accommodated us for a fondue chinois that evening and my, they delivered in style. Treated like VIP's by the restaurant staff. The dream husky tour was an amazing experience for us all, and our guide was excellent. The walk was stunning, but strenuous if you're being led by a husky! My girls loved it! Meeting the 3 month old pups, wow, again amazing. Sauna area was so relaxing and needed after a walk with the huskies. It was snowing when we were there, like the Wham 'Last Christmas' video. Our chalet was snug, well thought out. Tea & coffee facilities. The wood burner was such a beautiful touch and very warm. Such great memories we are taking away from this during this incredible time. Great kick start to Christmas for us.

We had booked the sauna at reception for 5-6pm. There's a max of 6 allowed in there. We were led to believe that during Covid that this was a very practical suggestion for our party of 5? However we had to wait for an unrepentant crowd to leave so we didn't get in till 5:30 which only gave us half an hour, sadly. Think there needs to be a tighter control there by the hotel? The bedding wasn't so comfortable, but saying that we all slept soundly.

Heavenly Husky Lodge retreat.

The location, the atmosphere, the quiet, the cleanliness, the naturally helpful and friendly staff, the fireplace in our room, the restaurant, the layout of the room ( toilet and shower were seperate so one could shower and the other use the facilities at the same time and still have privacy) as well the Kettle could be filled from a tap away from the toilet. Absolutely wonderful for a night away. Will be booking 2 or 3 nights next time.

We didn't realise we had to book in for the sauna usage due to covid so unfortunately we couldn't use it. There is always next time though! Also it would of been nice to have 2 of each tea bags and a little milk for coffee. Sheets a little scratchy but it's personal choice my husband loved them.

Das Zimmer war wunderschön. Wir hatten das Candle Light Dinner gebucht, welches wir wärmstens empfehlen können. Das Personal war total freundlich und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Zwei Übernachtungen voller Erholung und Genuss in einer wahrhaft einzigartigen Hütte

Die gesamte Anlage ist mit spürbarer Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Die Hütten sind äußerst sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet; das durchgängige Hüttenflair wirkt authentisch, warm und sehr heimelig. Der Saunabereich in der Hütte, inklusive Ausstattung und Duftaufguss ließ keine Wünsche offen. Besonders beeindruckend ist die gigantische Aussicht durch das Panoramafenster. Das Cheminée schafft in der Hütte eine unvergleichlich gemütliche Atmosphäre. Die Betten sind sehr bequem, die Decken und Kissen flauschig, großzügig bemessen und mehr als ausreichend. Die kleine Küche mit Kühlschrank sowie der Möglichkeit, Tee und Kaffee zuzubereiten, ist bestens ausgestattet. Nach ausgiebigen Saunagängen durften wir das Essen aus dem Restaurant unkompliziert mit in die Hütte nehmen. So konnten wir den Abend entspannt bei Cheminéefeuer, hervorragendem Essen und weiteren Saunagängen genießen. Der kleine Außenbereich mit Liegestühlen eignet sich ideal, um nach der heißen Sauna angenehm abzukühlen. Ein rundum stimmiges und erholsames Erlebnis – wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Es handelt sich um wenige, sehr kleine Anregungen, die den Aufenthalt in keiner Weise geschmälert haben. Die Beleuchtung in der Hütte könnte mit einer etwas differenzierteren Gestaltung die bereits sehr stimmige Atmosphäre noch weiter abrunden. Die Hocker am Bartisch fügen sich optisch hervorragend ins Gesamtkonzept ein, sind jedoch auf längere Zeit etwas weniger komfortabel. Auch eine etwas höhere Matratze wäre angenehm, damit man beim Aufsitzen nicht auf dem Holzrand sitzt. Beim Cheminée würde etwas zusätzliches Kleinholz neben dem vorhandenen Holz und den Anzündwürfeln das Anfeuern noch unkomplizierter machen. Beim Frühstück hätte eine kleine Auswahl an frischem Gemüse das Angebot perfekt ergänzt. Auf Nachfrage wurde dies jedoch jederzeit freundlich und unkompliziert bereitgestellt, was ich sehr geschätzt habe.
