Cozy beautiful apartment with a view and a very kind host

Wonderful and cozy apartment. It has everything we needed during our stay. The view is amazing and location is at the center of Menton. 3 mins and you are at the beach! 😊 We had as well a very smooth self check in and out. Thanks to the excellent communication with Jacques, our host. We are very lucky, happy and thankful to have stayed in this apartment.

Only that it is located in the second floor and had no lift. It was quite a challenge for our senior citizen mother. 😊 Nevertheless, she managed and still liked the apartment.

AMAZING view from the apartment. Its a pitty they do not give proper cleaning/maintenance to it

The view from inside the apartment's living room and main bedroom are really amazing! HOWEVER...

The bathrooms didn't work!! This apartment had divided the bathroom: in one was the toilet with a sink and another with the shower and another sink. OK, the first one, the sink didn't work at all. No water coming out of the faucet. in the second one, the sink was half clogged, so the water was draining slowly out. The same for the shower. you could not take a shower without converting the shower into a small swimming pool. We had to cut our stay here to only one night, unfortunately. What a shame. I claimed for a reinbursement but 40% of the price was "cleaning services" and booking didn't reimbursed that part (which by the way was the only part I was really claiming!!) If they just clean/maintain the apartment as they charge for... something else would have been my experience!!

The location of this apartment is superb. It has a balcony, with two double opening doors to the balcony, and a window as well, so the outlook is seen from most of the apartment. The best swimming beach in Menton is below and the marina and outlook to the Mediterranean probably cannot be beaten anywhere in Menton. Only warning, there are stairs to the apartment so not suitable for those who cannot manage strairs!! We had four staying in this apartment and there was plenty of room, two large bedrooms, one with access to the balcony, dining/kitchen was very workable, plenty of kitchen utensils etc. we all had a fabulous stay for 16 nights, highly recommend it and would certainly come back again. We have conveyed some suggestions to the management to even make the stay more perfect.

Tolle Lage und Aussicht, der Zustand der Wohnung ist jedoch eher unterdurchschnittlich

Die Lage und der Ausblick sind hervorragend! Und auch Restaurants, der Strand und das Parkhaus sind relativ einfach über die vielen Treppen erreichbar.

Die Wohnung war teilweise dreckig, es hatte den Anschein als wurde immer nur oberflächlich geputzt! Das Bad ist extrem klein, mehr als eine Person konnte sich nicht darin aufhalten, und die Dusche war undicht und dreckig! Es gab einen modrigen Geruch in den Bädern. Der Dreck klebte an den Tischbeinen am Boden und das Sofa war nicht nur eklig und verfärbt, sondern auch kaputt. Die Töpfe und Pfannen waren auch extrem dreckig und kaputt, weshalb wir immer auswärts gegessen haben. Offensichtlich hat der Besitzer einen anderen Massstab an Sauberkeit als wir.

Nicht alle Schlafräume sind klimatisiert und Wohnung ist renovierungsbedürftig. Außerdem fehlen Accessoires welche bei diesem Preis eigentlich zu erwarten wären (z.B. Handseife, WC Papier).

Für meinen Geschmack zu teuer.

Lage direkt in der wunderschönen Altstadt. Nähe zum Strand… sehr geräumig für uns zu dritt. Sehr freundlicher Service, der immer wieder nachgefragt hat, ob alles I.O. ist.

Bad relativ klein, vor allem wenn man mit mehreren Personen das Apartment nutzt. Die relativ vielen Treppen mit dem Gepäck. Ausstattung zweckmäßig ok.
