The location was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I appreciated the unique vintage interior design. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. Breakfast was great and hearty.
Was suprised that they had an elevator at the facility!
No AC, so gets somewhat hot during summer. However a fan helped to cool off a bit during the night.

The people of Fleur de Lys are really nice, very kind and attentive. The hotel is in the middle of Gruyère. There was a little living room where you could have coffee any time of the day and read.
The hotel is quite old. When we arrived, we were initially assigned a room with mold covering the bathroom ceiling. After pointing it out, the staff promptly moved us to a different room. However, the hotel itself is quite dated. We would not recommend dining at the restaurant, and breakfast was also rather underwhelming. While the staff were very kind and helpful, the food options were limited and of mediocre quality. The fresh fruit, in particular, seemed to have been previously frozen and then thawed.
