Hotel D Bulle - La Gruyère

Amazing location. Right in front of the station and bus stops yet with ample space in front with good views. Migros downstairs open late is like a dream. I want to live in that building.

There was only one unhappy guy who checked us in with zero smile. All the rest were very pleasant and helpful.

The staff was attentive and service oriented The room was spacious but the second bed’s location was very unconventional and not too comfortable ( the beds were located “head to toe”)

We picked the hotel since it specifically stated it had air conditioning in the room. This was not the case. When we asked why the room was so warm they explained they are eco friendly and only have a system that refreshes the air in the rooms. They offered to bring a fan, which was very small and made a terrible clicking noise. Opening the windows wasn’t very helpful since the hotel is located above a train station! In addition- the bathroom is not very comfortable- only two small towel hangers (for a room of 3-4), no place to put your toiletries, the toilet splashes water outside when flushing it and the sink faucet sprays water all over your clothes if you don’t open it carefully.

The breakfast was good, the staff were very nice. The location was great close to the train station and bus stop.

The air conditioning was not working and the room was very hot and stuffy. We did have to open the door but because we were near the train station it was a bit noisy then. The bathroom doesn't have any spots to put a toiletry bag.
