Cozy place to stay in Metz

I can't say enough good things about this bed and breakfast. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely welcomed and at home. The location is fantastic, peaceful and just a short walk to everything we wanted to see and do. What really made our stay exceptional was the host. Incredibly kind, attentive, and thoughtful. Pierre went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests, and it shows in every little detail. The room was spotless, cozy, and breakfast each morning was delicious. With fresh homemade jams, a great way to start the day. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with a personal touch! Would definitely stay here again.

Great place with a warm welcome to stop over on the way south!

A wonderful welcome for us (and our bikes). Lots of space for our family of 5. We had a comfortable night and a delicious breakfast - the homemade apricot and rosemary jam was amazing! We‘d love to come back for a longer stay.

A very nice place to stay with great breakfast and only a small walk away from the city centre

We were welcomed with open arms and received very useful information on How to get to town and things to do. The breakfast was amasing with All sorts of fresh / homemade juice, compote, jam … we loved it

It made our stay in Metz extremely enjoyable. Away from the city, but close enough fro an easy walk.

Location. Only an easy 20 minute walk to the city, but away from the city noise. Actual apartment was perfect with everything you could want.

Superb

Pierre was very attentive, and allowed for early check in. He shared plates etc so we could enjoy a late lunch that we had brought. The parking was secure and a nice walk to the historic center Breakfast each morning was such a treat.

Very good price-quality relationship, only 20 min walk from the cathedral, excellent breakfast, free parking, friendly host, nice view of the garden from the terrace, quiet neighborhood

If you walk back in the night through the park, it is not lit up. It still seems very safe but take it into account if you're a woman alone

Amazing breakfast and great history lesson and advices from the owner. Would have loved to enjoy the view without the fog, but othervise super nice. Clean and spacious bedrooms.

Nothing special. If I could suggest, parking space can have little more space to turn a vehicle. Otherwise, some notifications could be displayed at entrance of parking space. It will be helpful.

Die Lage dieser Unterkunft war für uns ideal. In die Innerstadt gingen wir zu Fuss oder mit dem Bus. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und mit Liebe zubereitet.

Schönes Zimmer, tolles Frühstück, mit kleinem Punktabzug aufgrund des Verkehrsrauschens

Das Frühstück war sehr gut und reichlich. Die selbstgemachten Konfitüren aus dem Garten waren sehr lecker. Sehr angenehmer Gastgeber.

Die nicht sehr fernen großen Straßen führten zu einem ziemlichen Grundrauschen. Daher öffneten wir nur das Fenster im Bad - mit teilweisem Erfolg und auch nur bis zum sehr frühen Morgen.

Génial reposant à refaire

Hôte très accueillant pour une première fois dans un gîte nous avons été fort ravis, conseiller sur la ville ( musée , sorties.. ) .Petit déjeuner remarquable croissant pain varié beurre confiture maison fromage blanc au fruits jus de fruits frais presser fromage café ou autre à la demande, propreté impeccable 👌 électroménager fonctionnel et suffisant

Étant une personne à mobilité réduite j aurait vraiment aimé savoir que nos chambres était dans un grenier qu il faut rejoindre par plus de 60 marches , merci de le préciser sur l annonce

Schöne und ruhige Unterkunft mit sehr nettem und hilfsbereiten Vermieter. Wir haben und rundum wohl gefühlt und den Besu

Die Unterkunft ist in einem ruhigen Wohnquartier und trotzdem relativ nahe am Zentrum. Das Zimmer im Dachstock ist sehr geräumig, wohnlich und mit allem, was man benötigt, eingerichtet. Das Frühstück ist toll und der Gastgeber sehr nett. Da Haus hat einen schönen Garten. Zur Unterkunft gehört ein Parkplatz. Wir hatten die Fahrräder dabei und sind so auf einem schönen Fahrradweg ins Zentrum gefahren.

Zentrumsnah, 10 Radminuten zur Kathedrale, Räder können hinter dem Haus abgestellt werden. Schöner Garten und Ausblick. Pierre ist überaus freundlich und hilft bei allen Fragen. Das Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet. Zimmer und Bad sehr angenehm. Ruhiges Wohnviertel, allerdings nahe der Autobahn, dies sorgt für ein Grundrauschen. Eine hervorragende Adresse in Metz zu einem angemessenen Preis. Wir kommen jederzeit gerne wieder und können die Zimmer und die Betreuung durch Pierre nur empfehlen.

Metz = Familie Brunet.

Es gibt da so einen schönen Spruch: Du kommst als Fremder und gehst als Freund. So ging es uns bei Pierre Brunet und seiner Frau in Metz. Das war ein toller Abschluß unseres Frankreich Urlaubes. Sie vermieten Apartments in ihrem Haus in einer sehr beschaulichen Wohngegend. Pierre gab uns bei der Ankunft gleich einen Stadtplan und zeichnete den Weg in die Altstadt ein. Der führte vorbei an einem See an der Mosel und etlichen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Traumhaft! Nach 20 Minuten Fußweg tauchte man ein in die Gassen der ehrwürdigen Stadt in Lothringen. Vom Vermieter und seiner Frau bekamen wir ganz tolle Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt. Danke dafür! Er spricht ausgezeichnet deutsch, von seiner Frau bekamen wir beim Frühstück in dem wunderschönen Wintergarten einen Tipp für eine Kunstausstellung im Centre Pompidou, auf englisch. Überhaupt das Frühstück, mon dieu, das war super klasse. Noch ein Spruch: Wanderer kommst du nach Metz, geh zu Familie Brunet.

Super netter und aufmerksamer Vermieter. Er spricht sehr gut deutsch und hat gute Tipps bereit. Vermieter hat private Parkplätze um die Ecke. Innenstadt von Metz ist über einen schönen Spaziergang durch Naherholungsgebiet von Metz in 15-20 Minuten sehr einfach erreichbar. Frühstück mit selbst gemachter Marmelade, sehr gutem Kaffee und frisch gemachten Saft.

Das Haus mit den Chambres d'Hotes liegt in einem Wohnviertel von Metz, ca. 20 min. zu Fuß in die Stadt, mit dem Fahrrad ca. 7-8 min. Haus und Gästezimmer haben die für Frankreich und einen privaten Gastgeber übliche charmante Ausstrahlung. Luxus darf nicht erwartet werden, aber es ist alles Notwendige vorhanden und der Gastgeber Pierre ( spricht deutsch ) kümmert sich hervorragend und nett um seine Gäste. Das Frühstück ist typisch französisch. Auch hier bereitet Pierre alles liebevoll zu. Die Unterkunft bietet eigene Parkplätze. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis super.
