The onsen was very clean and quiet although the water was extremely hot. Staff was friendly and helpful.
The traditional beds were not the most comfortable. We were only allowed to use the onsen and common areas until 10am on the check out date, it would have been nice to have some flexibility around this.

The location and setting of the hotel were really beautiful. The room was well-designed and spacious.
The onsen was beautiful, but a bit disappointed to have no sauna in the morning.

The man on reception was quite rude and unhelpful. The other staff were very pleasant though. The hotel was significantly overpriced. I assume this is because there was an event in the area.
