Het interieur,de mega grote tatami kamer,De Kaiseki meals, de kok verdient een M* ,prachtige tuin, volledig uitgeruste onsen.Het vriendelijke personeel. Het machtige tempelcomplex in de buurt! .

Communicatie enkel mogelijk via Google translate, geen fietsenverhuur.De mooiste kamers met zicht op de tuin werden niet aangeboden en denkelijk gereserveerd voor Japanse bezoekers.

Beautiful garden, nice and quiet, room was huge, authentic Japanese experience with breakfast and yukuta to wear. Pick up and delivery from Kaga onsen station was very helpful.

Couldn't use the onsen because if tattoos

Location was in a region that I had visited and liked. The front desk staff tried extra hard to find me a bike rental shop in town to no avail but found some close by. The food was delicious. I liked the variety of baths which are changed between men and women. The was a sauna, cold water bath, waterfall, regular, bubbly, outdoor, tubs with milky hot water. A garden large enough to walk, with tall trees and bridges. And the craft village within walking distance. You could opt for a get on /get off loop bus from Kagaonsen station. And there’s a shuttle to and from the ryokan. There’s a food/drug store across the street.

Not much to see in this town but clustered around it are other towns. You could not open the windows because bugs are constantly trying to come in.
