Tip: Use some type of padding on bedframe or reduce size. We bumped into corners numerous times and had bruises on our lower legs.

A good place to stay in Mexico City's best neighbourhoods.

Super friendly and helpful staff in all areas of the hotel. The location is fantastic. Really liked the suite-style rooms.

The gym was a bit dated. The breakfast was ok. But the breakfast staff were really, really nice.

We came from an Airbnb we didn't like to this hospitable well run business and we were so relieved!

The breakfast was very good. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I loved someone being at the gate in the evening and attentive to buzzing us in. It is a lively neighborhood but we were able to rest as it was not super noisy at the location of our room in the building. It was great being in Polanco with all the restaurants and the streets are not so crowded as the Centro where we were before we came. We were able to walk to museums or easily take Uber anywhere and never waited more than 5 minutes to catch the Uber.

Low quality for a high price, disappointing.

Looks nice from the street, near a good neighborhood.

More like an apartment or timeshare condominiums than a hotel. Doesn’t really have a lobby, more like you are walking into the business office, only after they buzz you in through the locked gate. We had a loud room from traffic noise which went on past midnight. They did accommodate a switch to an interior room, but only after speaking with three different people. The quality of the fixtures and furnishings do not match the luxury price. Cheap quality bathroom fixtures with a cover over the shower drain which only partially prevents the sewer smell from coming in the bathroom. Cheap quality vinyl flooring on uneven floors. Yes it is a one bedroom apartment suite, but the furniture is not good quality, and there are signs which remind you that you will have to pay more if you want the coffee refilled or more bottled water. Mid-grade chain hotel quality for a high price. Breakfast is uninspired continental buffet, with extra charge for espresso machine.

Great location in the Polanco district. A few minutes walk from the very posh street of Masaryk. Cleanliness. Very friendly staff.

Amazing hotel and one of the best values in Mexico City.

Suites Obelisk is amazing! We had a suite that had a large bedroom and an even larger living room + dining area + kitchen. It even had a washer-dryer. Everything was very clean, modern and working perfectly. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to make us comfortable. The location was awesome as well, with a 3-min walk to a large number of top notch restaurants. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who’s traveling to Mexico City for a vacation.

To be honest, there wasn’t much I didn’t like. If I were really picky, I’d say that it would have been nice if the restaurant were open for lunch & dinner, not just breakfast.

Excelent place to stay.

Elegant, classy and in a very good area. The staff is so kind and welcoming. The rooms are wonderful. I had an amazing experience with my family. The internet is full speed, the water comes out of the shower instantly hot. The beds are so comfortable and spacious. I would love to stay here again. Wonderful

The bathroom door hinge was broken, so that could be fixed for the nest guest, but it’s a minor detail

Great location

The location is excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There was good wardrobe space with drawers, a safe, and an iron/iron table. The blinders block the luminosity efficiently.

The breakfast is very basic, with limited options of choice. Especially poor choices for vegetarians. The light in the bathroom was a bit faint and in front of the mirror, there was not enough luminosity to put on makeup.

the location of the hotel is excellent. There are many restaurants and coffee shops around.

The windows in the room are not sound proof, therefore, you can get woken up at night by the street sounds or people coming in and out of their rooms. in addition, if you require AC to sleep at night, the machine is very noise, which makes it hard to sleep with the AC on.

Disappointing

Good bed, WiFi and bathroom. And some staff like Erick are really friendly. it’s located in a nice area too.

unfortunately a lot: - they charge the most ridiculous and insulting exchange rate (which you have to accept since prices are in USD and then converted by them), almost 15% above the official rate. I made a complaint and asked several times what the status was, which obviously was never answered so in the end I paid almost 15% more than calculated. - the jacuzzi was the reason to book this place. for five days it was “just out of order”, “would probably work tomorrow “, “could be booked for tomorrow between 9 and 5 only” and well obviously, it never worked. - breakfast is too basic for this price level. even worse: you have to pay some extra usd a cup to get cappuccino or drinkable coffee. and omelettes are one day als some extra usd’s and one day included so well, so far for consistency. Bonus: did I mention the ordered airport service never showed up? I addressed all the above mentioned while staying there and not a single one of them was solved, and a lot of the employees really did not seem to care either. To sum it up: definitely a once in a lifetime experience.

Superb

The location can't be beat. Within walking distance to parks, museums, restaurants, cafes, zoo, etc. Our suite was huge and even had a washer and dryer. Bed, linens and towels all great. The staff was wonderful especially our butler Felipe Munoz - he was amazing. Couldn't have been better. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we are in Mexico City.

Stale bread at breakfast. Room was too small for a king bed, barely enough space for the bags to fit in. No help getting bags up/down the stairs to the street.

Exceptional

The location at Polanco was a great choice. Nice neighborhood, safe and beautiful, with lots of bars and restaurants. The hotel is lovely, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Eric, the head butler, has an eye for the smallest details and always gave immediate support and assistance ( in English).
