Shower good, quiet pub next door - we had a good meal (10% guest discount). Good parking. Can walk to Lands End (where you only pay for parking, no admission charge). NOT good 'disabled friendly' ground floor studio 3 - water dripping from safety pull cord beside toilet, drinks tray, kettle & microwave stored high up. Quality, traditional mahogany furniture bit battered. Bathroom extraction fan insufficient & too far away from shower. 1 very small window with obscure glass & 1 large full height window at the front with thick curtain which you have to keep closed for privacy/ security so room is dark. 2 single beds pushed together, noisy and separate easily. Glad we only stayed 1 night.

The property was in an ideal location for walking. The accommodation had everything we needed apart from there was no coat hangers. The food at the pub was very good especially the Sunday lunch. It was very quiet at night. We walked from the property to Lands End. There was a Spar close by. The accommodation was very clean but there was a slight problem with damp in the bathroom. I would stay here again

Lovely concept of being able to do basic meals like breakfast or salads in the room. Comfortable room with all that we needed for a short stay. Definitely somewhere we'd stay again. A few areas of maintenance need some tlc. Our stay could have been made more comfortable by some little tweaks like coat hooks in the bathroom, hangers in the 'wardrobe' and the kettle being nearer the rest of the 'kitchenette'.

Great cosy place. Only disappointment was no toiletries when we arrived - we had to go to the shop and buy hand soap! 10% off pub nextdoor - food was ok, decent portions. Room was VERY warm. We turned thermostat off but still needed to open the front door at 1am to get some air. Bed is ok. Bring your own pillows! We had rubbish weather and found tv too small to watch anything. Luckily we bought our laptop.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights during a tour of Cornwall. This was a perfect base for exploring this area of Cornwall and had a pub next door that serves the best food! The room was spotlessly clean with a large comfortable bed. There was a microwave and toaster- perfect for our needs of warming up milk for morning coffee and toasting crumpets before heading off for the day. We would definitely stay here again

Pros Very dog friendly area, with great access to some main attractions, field to back to walk dog, good parking available, easy check in, some great local pubs nearby or short drive, nice complimentary coffee Cons - The property is not 'luxury accomodation' by any means Poor WiFi, scuffs on walls, Broken light, clock that doesn't work, Rusty old and noisy mini fridge, 'Kitchenette' is literally a microwave in the corner, Bathroom looks like community centre facilities, No ventilation just tiny square window at the back makes the room very hot and very stuffy, old small TV with a remote that barely works, lots of noise from flats above the rooms, pub next door has expensive and really poor food, most pubs stop serving food at 8pm so eat early. The Bed was super uncomfy and gave me a really bad back, advertised as a super king, was two larger singles pushed together, with a gap in the middle, causing a well used slant on both

Not really self catering but excellent for a short stay ( ours was three nights) ; more a super hotel room with a very big en suite , endowed with kettle , toaster , fridge , and microwave. Really good supply of hot drink making products. A great touch was blanket bed and towel for our dog , tucked in her own sleeping space. Very convenient with bus stop right beside accommodation , just right for a return after a long coastal path walk. Nearby field for the necessary late night and early morning pet requirements. The First and Last Inn next to the property can add to the hotel like stay with its dining facility and good outside space / playground. Traffic and noise from the Inn was not an issue. One tiny little improvement would be a bread knife added to the supply of kitchen equipment / cutlery.

A little disappointed, lovely comfortable room bathroom lovely, clean a tidy, but it read like you would have a garden to use, but the garden is only for the 3 bed apartment upstairs, also there is no way of getting fresh air in the room unless you open the front door and I’m not happy leaving the door open all night, can’t believe there’s no windows to open, no aircon or a fan to help the situation

This was a lovely stay in a very cosy apartment which was very clean and well maintained. The only issue was the washing machine which is in need of repair. Everything else was wonderful and we would certainly return in the future. Sitting on the terrace with a coffee in the morning sun whilst the dog played in the garden below was a highlight! Plenty to do in the area and never a problem to park etc.

Felt like a treat when we arrived to a basket of goodies, the kids felt at home straight away and the parking and access is great. When the weather is good and you can go to Sennen Cove this is a very special place. Beds could do with new mattresses but overall highly recommended holiday pad. Especially worth it seeing kids playing in the garden under the apple tree!

I stayed in Stable Room 1 for 4 nights. Pros- location- 25 minute walk or 3 minute Drive to Lands End, 10 minute drive to Minack Theatre, 20 minute drive to St Michael’s Mount, communication from staff, allowed to eat at Lands End restaurant, mini kitchen with stove, oven, and utensils, great water pressure in shower, dogs allowed, cute room with stable door Cons- My biggest issue is that the garden is only for the upstairs apartment. I only realized this when the guests staying there were very rude to me when I let my dog in to use the toilet. This was not advertised to me and a little misleading since it showed pictures of the garden with my booking. Either way, the garden should be allowed to be used by everyone at the property as it’s only 4 rooms. You shouldn’t make other dogs in the studio rooms have to stay on lead and find somewhere else to wee. It shouldn’t be a problem for everyone to share the space so please reconsider making the garden available to all 4 rooms.

Pros: Great location, Quiet despite being next to a pub. Welcome hamper inc milk in the fridge and well appointed kitchen for cooking. Lovely spacious rooms. Good communications for access to property. I would consider staying here again. Cons: Wifi is glacially slooooow. The bin in the bedroom hadn't been emptied from the previous resident and the dressing table was thick with dust. The bath takes about 10+mins to half fill and I'd recommend pulling the plus out fully to empty it.

Property had the potential to be fantastic. But the check in process was not well communicated. Received no email to confirm the process or the code, the number on the building is the incorrect one. The property itself really has the chance to be fantastic. But there was a number of issues; a very strong smell of damp when we entered. The flooring that is down has several parts that have swollen and risen (I presume due to damp). In addition the bathroom floor hadn’t been cleaned and the shower head looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for a number of years. I really disappointment as the fit and finish of the room was fantastic (other then the pointe above) and really could be special.

I enjoyed our stay due to space, comfort and decor of main room, location, parking and overall feel of the place. Checking in and out was easy too. I was a little unhappy however with the bathroom odour due to mould and leaking of the shower across the floor, so it was already wet on arrival and being asthmatic it was unpleasant. If this was rectified the place would be perfect.

A few notes-- first of all, as of July, 2019, no GPSs or locals I asked knew where this place was by this name. Go to the First and Last Inn-- its a building off to the side of that with a very small sign. Also- kitchenette is not quite accurate. Electric teapot and a microwave-- which was fine for us since we had no plans to cook, but for some that may be an issue.Other than that- it was very clean and cool place to stay- very nice hardwood floors and fairly large bath and shower. Also, its in Sennen, not in Penzance, though Penzance is not a long drive. Lands End is nearby, as is Sennen Cove. So its convenient to the west coast of Cornwall, but if you are looking for a place actually in Penzance, this isnt it. Wed stay there again. Just know that finding it the first time can be a bit of a challenge.
