Rose Villa

Fully stocked kitchen, sea breeze, the view, and the space!

The washer/dryer combo was difficult to understand and took way too long for our group to do laundry.

Rose Villa is a well equipped house and we felt very much at home right away. Newlyn is a nice community with good stores, pubs and restaurants. Reserved parking space just below the villa is a big plus. A welcome Scone, clotted cream and jam was nice touch but missed some tea bags : ( although 1/2 pint of milk was provided.

BBQ rack was not ready to be used although it is said so in the information package to make sure to get it ready for the next guest. : ( It took us sometime to understand how the garbage system worked. There were two different informations regarding a garbage sorting, one at the entrance and the other in an information folder. When we arrived the food rest container was not emptied and it smelt badly. The house keeper should have seen to it before our arrival. We were informed that microwave wasn’t working and someone will come to fix it. A very polite electrician did come and confirmed that it needed to be replaced. The management did not. One back to us and we were without a microwave during our stay : (

Location Cottage itself - lots of effort has gone in to make it so cozy and beautiful

The flooring in the dining room/kitchen needs to be fixed. It will hurt the guests if they are not looking at the place some of it is ripping off

The Rose Villa cottage was a wonderful place to stay. The kitchen was well equipped. There was more than enough space for the four of us to spread out. The furniture was comfortable. The entire place was well decorated and was just what I would expect a seaside cottage to be. Seaviews from 2 of the bedrooms were inviting. The reserved parking space in the lot just below the house was convenient.
