Camellia Inn

Great Inn tucked away in Healdsburg. Easy access to wineries and restaurants. We walked to dinner and wine bars daily. Jude and her staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and see we had everything we needed during our stay. Fresh breakfast is served daily along with wine and treats in the afternoon. This place is a true gem.

What we liked most was the staff was very friendly. The parking and pool area not inviting at all. Nothing was kept crisp and clean.The surroundings of the parking lot needs more coverage from the neighbors.

Great location. Room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. All furniture is a bit dated and has seen better days but adds to the charm of the overall experience. The bathroom was definitely a diy remodel but clean and comfortable. You get free cookies and wine in the common areas as well as breakfast service. They reached out ahead of our stay for any special requests or dietary restrictions. I wish we had taken advantage of the special request since the one breakfast we joined catered towards a more sweet breakfast audience. We have stayed with the wison family owned B&Bs before and will again as the overall experience is good, price reasonable, and great location.

We’ve stayed here before, they are super nice, super quiet place, easy walk to the square. Perfect place, we will definitely stay here again!

We have stayed at the Camellia Inn multiple times and love it more every time. The evening host, Kiki, is wonderful, professional, resourceful, very helpful and kind. The morning host is equally as helpful and is also very nice. We’ve had nothing but good experience and have been coming since 2018. Looking forward to our next visit!

Great stay. Friendly staff and wonderful room.close to the square, you can walk everywhere.Wine tasting at affiliated wineries is included. Parking n back is a little tight but plenty of street parking. Definitely will be back

Important: there is a very short window for checking in, and if you miss it there is no way to contact the inn. We were 30 minutes late and arrived to an empty inn, as the number I was given in my booking confirmation didn’t work and we couldn’t reach them about the check-in. We arrived and tried calling four different numbers and sending messages, but have yet to hear back, it’s now the next day. We ended up booking another hotel. Very disappointed.

Easy trip

We thought our room was worn and tired. The condition of the very weird bathroom was sub-par. Not all the windows were screened so it was harder to ventilate the room. The breakfast left a lot to be desired, but the person serving it was friendly. In terms of value for the money, it isn't very good. The location, though, is very good. We go to Healdsburg frequently and will stay elsewhere next time.

We enjoyed our stay, the place was nice, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good and the afternoon cookies divine. The staff was cheerful and accommodating.

Wonderful and beautiful B&B in the heart of the cutest little town in Wine Country!

Our fourth stay at the Camellia Inn and as always a very enjoyable one at that. A five minute walk to the center of Healdesburg, complimentary wine tastings at numerous Wilson Wineries, very friendly staff and a great breakfast to start the day. Lastly, free parking and no annoying add on charges. P.S. They also mailed my left behind items to the hotel we were staying at next in Paso.

Rooms were very nice. Can’t beat the location in downtown Healdsburg. Breakfast buffet was excellent.

The staff is very nice and the breakfast each morning was very good! The Inn is older house so it has its little quarks so you have to look aside from a more modern hotel when staying here but I would recommend it. The grounds could be a lot prettier if there was a more TLC. The location is perfect and you can walk to all the shops and restaurants.

Loved our stay here! It’s walking distance to so many great places! Only downside is how creaky the old house/ furniture is. I didn’t mind it but would recommend bringing earplugs.

We were so excited to stay here since the reviews were so stellar, but our experience was less than ideal. First, we did not get the room that we were promised. We booked a Executive King Room, which included a jet tub according to their website, but when we checked in we noticed that it only had a shower booth so we asked the receptionist, and she said this was still a Executive King Room but the only Executive King Room that didn't have the jet tub and because they had a renovation recently and we booked it through hotels.com, the room information was not accurate on hotels.com. And then she offered a King Suite with a bath tub that can only fit one person and that's directly connected to the dining area where you would have absolute no privacy and asked us if we wanted that instead. The room was a lot prettier, but we didn't want to hear other people nor wanted other people to hear us so we decided to take the original room with a shower booth. This original room was tucked away in the back of the building so it was more private but the room was half in underground, rather dark and dingy. It definitely was NOT what we expected. Also, the communication was not great. I didn't get any reply to my inquiries via email nor text before checking in. I mentioned my dietary restriction, which the receptionist acknowledged when we checked in, but was not delivered to the kitchen in the end. We definitely won't be coming back here.

My wife and I stayed here in late July on a trip to see family in the Bay Area. The property was beautiful and well cared for in all aspects. Secure, keyless entry to the common areas and keyed access to individual rooms. Off street parking felt convenient and safe, with easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and downtown venues. The owners were responsive and accommodating to any special requests and the fellow guests were a joy to interact with. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanted to explore Healdsburg or use this as a base for Russian River or California coastal exploration.

Our stay was wonderful. Conversely located near the shops and dining of Healsburg plaza, comfortable accommodations, friendly staff and a lovely breakfast. We will definitely be staying here again!

Lots of issues. The first day’s breakfast was downright scrawny and bad. That noted, the other days’ were very good. Pet policy is confusing and not well communicated. Front yard was off limits for much of the stay. No USB ports in the dated rooms. Shower barely functioned. Roaches in the room. They purport to have nighttime wine available, and it is a joke. They leave a bottle and some glasses on a table when they depart at 4:30 or so, and the bottle ends up on a table, empty, surrounded by a few glasses, just an hour or two later. None for the majority of us. This was just not what it claimed to be, online. Not good at all.

You could walk to the square in 5 minutes

Delightful B&B. Wine in afternoon at check in, with chocolate cookies. Lovely room with Jacuzzi tub and shower, comfy bed. Breakfast was great - they checked for any food restrictions on confirmation and double checked before breakfast. The only minor downside is lack of elevator to the room, but it's only one floor up and they did offer to carry up the luggage for us (we declined). The location couldn't be beat for our walk to the Single Thread restaurant .

What a beautiful place! I was so pleasantly surprised by how new and beautifully appointed the room was, and the bathroom was stunning! I loved how serene and peaceful the property was. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were all so friendly and welcoming. The location couldn’t be better as you’re a block away from the best restaurants, museums and tasting rooms. I can’t wait to come back!

Really cute property! Our room was comfortable and nicely decorated. Very nice breakfast . We enjoyed the pool and all the fabulous choices for dining. in the area!

Camellia Inn is a charming hotel close to the center of town, but quiet. Excellent full breakfasts, comfortable beds, helpful staff, convenient parking. 10/10 would stay again.

Next time we are back in Healdsburg we will definitely stay there! Perfect location and the staff, breakfast and room were FANTASTIC!

Coffee was delicious! Hostess was excellent.
