Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, nice hotel in a brilliant location for Split old town! Fully recommend.

Located in an unbeatable spot, this hotel offers plenty of heritage charm with its historic stone walls, quaint old-style windows, and lovely private courtyards for guests. The staff were warm and accommodating, though service is only available from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM, making it less ideal for travelers seeking 24-hour amenities. While our four-night stay was comfortable overall, the property relies a bit too much on rustic charm; investing in higher-end furnishings and resolving maintenance issues—like our non-functional TV—would elevate it significantly. Ultimately, it delivers decent value as a 3- to 4-star boutique property, but falls short of the high-end standard you would get from a luxury resort in Croatia.

A gorgeous boutique style hotel very close to the old town. The walk from the ferry is around 850m so very manageable. Great position, lots of little restaurants etc close by. Close to Palace and other shopping areas. Ina on Reception was super helpful and always eager to assist. But......a few things need to be addressed. Towels - grey, small, threadbare. A hotel of this calibre should have lovely fluffy towels. Light above mirror didn't work. Hairdryer didn't work. These were reported by not repaired. We had to request toilet rolls and these were left outside our room about 3 hours later. When we asked for beach towels we were given a couple of very old (and tiny) towels that a guest had no doubt left at some stage. Last day our coffee and water cups/glasses weren't changed and there was no coffee sachets for the morning. This hotel has the potential to be exceptional, but unfortunately has been let down by very simple things that just require a little bit of attention to detail. Quaint yes but Elegant needs some work.
