About this house rental

Come unwind in your slice of paradise non West Vancouver Island. The Applebnb is an immaculately-clean 4 bed/5 bath holiday home. Perfectly equipped for larger groups & families, with half an acre of manicured gardens. Enjoy stunning views across the Juan de Fuca Strait to the Olympic Mountains.

INSIDE:

All 4 bedroom suites in this 3500 sq/ft home are very spacious, with luxury mattresses and the softest linens. Most suites include wood stoves, outdoor patios, and ensuite bathrooms with big relaxing indoor jacuzzis to enjoy.

Downstairs living room has a new pull-out couch, and a flatscreen Smart TV (Netflix + Prime Video) with sound system. The main living/dining room upstairs is warm and inviting, featuring beautiful tall wooden ceilings, a fireplace, and beautiful views over the ocean & mountains. Dining table seats 6-8 people, and converts into a mini table-tennis table. There is also a kitchen table.

Kitchen is fully-stocked for all your culinary needs, with a family-sized fridge + freezer, induction stove, dishwasher, and breakfast nook area. Another great space to gather and make memories.

To make this your ideal "Home Away From Home", we provide all the info & essentials you'll ever need:

- Local brochures & menus
- Various board games, Jenga, etc.
- Extra single mattress (plus linens)
- First aid kit, car jump battery
- Phone charger, flashlights, candles, gas generator
- Emergency wood stores

OUTSIDE:

Walk out to a massive 500 sq.ft deck that wraps around house, with even more panoramic views of the ocean & mountains. Includes a new propane BBQ grill, and plenty of outdoor seating/table areas to enjoy together.

The downstairs Garden Suite has a patio with extra seating and another propane BBQ grill.

Across the driveway we have a picturesque lookout area under the leaning "Trust Fall Tree", featuring unique views over the ocean, Sooke, and East Sooke. It is without a doubt THE ideal spot to watch the sunrises and sunsets, with a warm beverage in-hand.

Out back, you'll find a half acre of well-manicured gardens to explore, featuring the "Help Yourself Herb Garden", various driftwood sculptures, and a furnished gazebo where you can find peace & relaxation.

Wildlife in the area you're likely spot from the deck & gardens:

GUEST ACCESS:

Enjoy full access to the home and gardens, the entire property is 100% yours to enjoy and is fully private.

The property is 75% fenced around, with tall cedar bushes for privacy.

Locked areas: Upstairs Storage Closet, Garden Suite area, and Outdoor Workshop.


OTHER DETAILS:

This is the whole-property rental, but if you're for something smaller or budget-friendly , we do also offer the option of separate VRBO listings for the 3bed/4bath Main House or the Garden Suite.

Driveway / Vehicles: The shared driveway entrance coming off West Coast Rd is quite steep, but can accommodate most vehicles. Please note the parking lot & driveway is not big enough for campers, RV's, duallys, etc.

This rental has 4x assigned parking spots. Please let us know if you have more than 4 vehicles.

Sensitive septic system: Flush only toilet paper and natural waste. Dispose of wet wipes, feminine products, and coffee grounds in the provided waste & compost bins.

Wood Stoves: Only for use in winter, one duraflame log per stove is provided.
