The caretaker Paul didnt know we were coming and initially was more interested in his amazon parcels, told us the owner books people and dosent tell him (happens all the time) id booked one double and one single with 3 beds on the same floor - I got one double with single beds in the attic and my children the 3 bed a floor below us. The b&b had hostel vibes from the start. There were smashed windows, dirty bathrooms without locks, pubes on the toilet roll and bottles stashed behind the was hand basins. The linin was tired, mis matched and didnt smell clean (none of our bedding did) we went to bed dressed. There was mould in the fridges and the bins in the rooms hadnt been emptied. I was verbally abused by the caretaker infront of my children throwing wild accusations as to us leaving an unpleasant review (bringing to attention that we had been in dropped off our bags and been out all day, having come in after spending quality time with loved ones) about his services, I felt so threatened that I had to fetch my husband and I sent my children to their rooms - we didnt want to argue with him as we felt that the threat of being bedless of a large party in the middle of the night - Paul then only offering an apology (to my husband mind) upon check out after hiding and refusing to come out to take our keys - he only came out as I rang the camera doorbell twice. He then said all I can do is apologise. I TRULY DO NOT ADVISE STAYING HERE, SAVE YOUR MONEY. DISMAL, FILTHY, UNPLEASANT

Disappointing. Very basic and shared shower and toilet. Sink in room and flat screen tv good. No reception so had to phone for room key. Very noisy guests on same floor although this was not fault of property. Self serve breakfast, basically coffee/tea/toast. Not value for money for single guest.

No light in the shower. No tap faucet on the hot tap. No flush for the toilet, just a hole in the wall that you had to put your through to pull up the lever😤enough said.

Very nice property very clean throughout. 3 sinle beds in room, 55"TV, Fridge in room with access to Kitchen. Plenty of on street parking. Bus stop just outside to city centre with chip shop and Tesco a few minutes down the road. Recommend property and would stay again.

Mo was an excellent host and the standard of the room was on a par. The bed was really comfy and facilities were top notch. The entire week long stay, was great.

Great! You get a text for doorcode, room is big enough with towels, kettle and fridge (or no. 4 did anyway!). Super clean with one of those memory foam type beds so a guaranteed great nights sleep. Great value for money.

I actually thought I'd booked a hotel, turns out to be a guest house - however the room was of a standard I'd expect out of a hotel. I was very happy with the room quality and service. I would definitely book this again if staying in the area.

Good location, friendly on check in, comfortable bed, decent TV and WiFi. But very cold in my room (cold enough to wake me up) and no way to adjust the temperature in your room. It’s all done on an app the manager has on his phone. No staff on site to ask either. Manager said it was my responsibility to check that the window hadn’t been left open by the cleaner. Heating turned on when I arrived and took a little while to kick in. Goes on a little after 6am so not ideal for early risers.

Lovely room and very comfortable bed. Corridors in need of a bit of TLC and smell damp but not in the rooms. I arrived at 10pm so the owner was not on site but he kept in touch via mobile and I was easily able to gain access to my room. Free on road parking.

I stay here for business. I have room 3 which has an ensuite. Its just had a new sink unit which looks fab.Super comfy room which has everything you need and is very quiet. Definitely recommend it.

The location and price was perfect close to the centre very reasonably priced. Very welcoming check in and brilliant advice on local amenities. Rooms where spotless, comfy beds and over all a very fresh smelling inviting place to stay.

No problems, owner v friendly, breakfast cooked to order very good. Parking is on street but found a space outside 2 or 3 doors down the road on a saturday so surmise this is not a problem. Shared shower/toilet facility but got in when we wanted to, so again no complaints. Would definitely stay there again, v good value.

Great hotel parking outside and free. Room I stayed in had a super king size bed and ensuite. Bed was very comfortable and had all amenities in room. Very quiet when I got back to hotel and breakfast was very good. Will go there again

Very good guest house. Looks nothing special from outside. Room was very well appointed, with large smart TV and comfortable bed. Small minus was lack of a desk to work on. Even had USB ports near plugs for phone charging. Excellent freshly cooked breakfast.

The B&B is within walking distance to town and very near a Tesco super market plus a fast food eatery. It is also near other restaurants in case one is looking for food. It is very clean and access in and out was always easy. Has WiFi, comfortable beds and one can easily park by the road. There was always a complimentary newspaper every morning. The bathrooms were shared but very clean with shampoo and bathing soap and ample towels.

I was running late and the owner Bob called to check everything was OK. Upon arrival Bob was very friendly and payed an interest in the nature of my visit, the room was spacious and well presented with all the amenities you could expect from such a reasonably priced room.
