This was a quaint and outstanding place to stay. We were in the oak three bedroom cottage and comfortable and nice. The location on the property was perfect and the staff was outstanding. We were particularly impressed with the service provided by Mercy. She was very customer oriented and helped us with dinner and transportation. This What is the best level of service provided Any place I ever stayed in my 45 years of travel. I would not hesitate to stay here again

We really enjoyed our stay at the Webersburg estate. Our room was in a beautiful Cape Dutch house and the property boasted amazing views of the mountains, which were on full display during their extremely good breakfast. Our only gripe was that the water pressure drops during load shedding, but fortunately they try to tell you in advance when that occurs so you can plan around it.

We arrived during load shedding, and there was only one working emergency light in the cottage, no fire lighters and not that much wood to keep the fire going. Also fireplace smoked the room out. The check in woman was kind and fetched us her own personal fire lighters. But they knew when we were arriving, and the place should have been checked for these basics including adding candles, matches, fire lighters, and checking emergency lights. Seems like a nice property but the welcome wasn't cozy, and it seemed like too few staff and not well trained to greet my US family. As it was their first experience of South African hospitality, I was embarrassed.

We had 2 great days at this beautiful vineyard. Fantastic beautiful location with historic old buildings in prestine condition just on the sloop of the tall blue surrounding mountains. The whole area was lkike a beautifful garden. Great staff. Many free range ducks, geese and turkies on watch outside during night. There are also African buffalo's inside a big fenced area.

An absolute Gem. Can not fault the room, the Situation, The View, The Ambiance, but PLEASE an attention to detail was sorely missing. Reception was advertised open until 5 pm. We arrived 4.20 pm, reception closed. No one to greet us except George , the Security Man . He showed us to our lovely Apartment. The Advertised DSTV Satellite TV, in our room a bunch of wires. A Lady we phoned who agreed to have everything sorted, said She would phone back, but never heard from her again. George, eventually arrived at room, offered to change us to another Room. Sadly this Room had not been serviced, only recently vacated. But George a quite brilliant Employee, ( I truly mean that ) sorted everything out. We enquired about ' Advertised Breakfast', but no that did not exist. Please Owners, if you can not greet Visitors properly, please leave them some explanatory notes. Apart from this a quite Brilliant property.

Love this place. We usually have a cottage by the lake. Very comfy and clean. The historic buildings are magnificent. The breakfasts are great. Love everything about the place with views of the mountains. Wish we were there now. Lovely staff too.

The location is superb, but the room was dark and not very clean with some cobwebs and dust. The Manor House, where we stayed, was impressive, rustic and spacious. The room itself was a disappointment with no view at all. Breakfast was great in a beautiful setting overlooking the mountains.

We only stayed a single night at the wine estate as we were tired of driving. The room was very nicely decorated and the bath had all the amenities to make a romantic experience. The room was very nice and had an elegant older look to the furnishing, like you would expect in a winery hotel. The breakfast was very good.

The view from our cottage is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. The breakfast was also very nice, and the picnic basket in our room after a day of wine tasting was perfect. My only negative is we booked a cottage with two king beds for two adults and got one of the rooms with twin beds. That was of no use to us.

Just a lovely place to stay! We were put up in a cottage which provided Spacious rooms with unique views of lush green meadows, mountains ad a pond with ducks and geese. The beds were comfortable and big enough for two. The breakfast was superb and didn’t lack anything.

The farm itself is beautiful with a lovely lunch spot. Grounds are beautiful and the wine is great. The main manor house is lovely however I would not recommend the cottages. We checked in and checked out within 45 minutes and had to find alternative accomodation. The pictures on the website are misleading and the cottages are no where near the standard of the main house. Our cottage in particular seemed to be “rundown”. Outside table was cracked and completely weathered along with the sun loungers and the decor was a bit of a laugh with pictures and mirrors all skew and off centre. All the cottages could do with a new paint job as they are peeling at the base of the buildings. Much better value for your money elsewhere in the area unless you are in the main manor house.

Wonderful place to stay and experience the wonders of the area. Everything about this place is special. The setting, the views etc. The only negative was that the restaurant is closed on Mondays. Expedia does not tell you this. We had to drive elsewhere for a meal but the hotel did do us a cheese and meat platter for the evening. Despite this we still would highly recommend Webersburg.

It is over 200 years old, yet well maintained and renovated with all the modern amenities. A delicious breakfast was included in the patio. The wine tasting was excellent. The vineyards and grounds looked fabulous. I highly recommend it.

We love the experience of a small cottage in the Winelands. We have a quiet coffee by the lake before breakfast and then move to the main building and eat by another beautiful lake. Water conservancy has been practiced for years here.Grape vines are in great shape.
