Excellent place, great value for money!

It is the most beautiful place with such a relax atmosphere. Hans, his wife and Eric is always smiling. Do not forget the two guards (the dogs) Hans made time to engage with his guests and introduced us to one another, ensuring a pleasant stay.

Highly recommended, good value for money and very comfortable.

The owners and team were friendly, welcoming and very accommodating. We felt very comfortable and really enjoyed the pool and view of the mountains. The birdsong was lovely. A little way out of Stellenbosch but very cheap to get an uber and the site was very secure. Many thanks for a short but most enjoyable stay.

It’s relatively quiet, well kept, clean, and comfortable. I liked just about everything in general.

Very little, apart from the bathroom design in unit 4. The wash basin in the toilet room is small and very awkward to use. The taps don’t open or provide water comfortably. Not a fan of over the counter washbasins in general. They’re more awkward to use than regular large/spacious sinks/basins that are recessed into the countertops. Above counter basins (vessel sinks) just look nice, but are much less comfortable to use.

Well rested

Will surely book again. Hans and his wife was so accommodating and staff was so friendly. The cottage was clean every morning dearing our stay . It is safe and nicely allocate between Stellenbosch and Somerset West. 1km from shopping center and surrounded with wine winryards (Wine tasting and spa)

Kleinbosch Lodge was an absolute pleasure to be a guest for my 3 day stay. The hosts were lovely. The pictures don't justify just how beautiful the apartment and gardens are. I made use of the braai facilities and everything was perfect. Highly recommend you stay at Kleinbosch!

Needs lots of TLC and more homely touches.

The host was very welcoming and accommodating. The unit was big enough for a family of 4. The beds and linen are very comfortable.

The cupboard and cups were dirty, There was no inverter or provision made for load shedding and we were only there one night with load shedding for most of it. There were no rugs in the house and the floors are very cold. The tiling in the unit is all mis-matched. The furniture is uncomfortable. The picture's of naked people in the one bathroom is really no suitable for young children. That same bathroom has rusty shower pipes and unit just didn't feel clean. Also the neighbours outside area is right by the main bedroom so you have to have the blinds closed and the noise isn't great for an early night. This unit needs updating to be considered a 4 star.

Room for improvement

Comfy room with a sunset view of the Table Mountain. Every basic amenity was provided. Price was quite affordable and if you're out and about with a private car this could work out as a great location for some wine tours or whatnot.

Despite located some way out of the city and a hundred or so meters from the highway, you can still hear traffic into the room which is slightly annoying considering the otherwise calm setting. The bathroom has seen better days with moldy ceiling and dirty tiles.
