Highly recommend this hotel - we absolutely loved it. We stayed in a 3 bed villa with pool. Good sized pool set in a garden with indoor/outdoor kitchen and lounge area. Good sized bedrooms each with en-suite with outdoor shower. Beds v comfortable. Fresh water and fruit platter delivered daily. Monkeys sometimes visit too! Reception team did everything to make our stay perfect. We ordered breakfast through them, had a takeaway one night when we were tired from diving, organised motorbikes for us, booked airport transfers. They even left a water pistol for my son so he could join in with the crazy Songkran water festival. They thought of everything. Excellent location with loads of beachside restaurants less than 5 mins walk away. V chilled vibe here, perfect to watch the sun go down over a few cold beers. No euro trash bars. Easy to get transport around the island by flagging a taxi or tuk tuk from the bottom of the drive. Absolutely loved the hotel and Koh Lanta

We had 5 nights at Alanta Villa, and by day two we knew we hadn’t booked long enough. The villas are peaceful, well appointed, comfortable, and very private. We found the staff are incredibly helpful and very friendly… genuinely lovely people There’s a lot of wildlife knocking about in the gardens, so if you don’t want to share the place with frogs, lizards, preying mantis and monkeys, then it might not be for you, but I love all that and it really made my stay much better. Location is about 5 minutes walk from the beach, where there are dozens of bars, none of which are too rowdy, and there are plenty of decent restaurants on the main road (Angels being the best for many reasons). If you don’t want to go out, you can contact Aor who runs the place via WhatsApp and have food delivered to your villa Be warned that the road up to the villas is pretty steep though TL;DR Best place I’ve ever stayed, you won’t regret it

What a wonderful home base to visit and explore the region! Alanta Villa has a unique setup and a great team available to make your stay comfortable. I really liked the personal concierge service and the room service food options. The on-site scooter rental was really convenient too!

Alanta Villas was a wonderful place to stay. It was amazing value for a villa with a private pool and we loved the al fresco large screen TV with Netflix app! The service was incredible with everything we wanted just a whatsapp message away. There is also loads to do close by. We particularly liked Angels restaurant and Patty's Secret Garden

Amazing staff and villa will make your stay luxurious and seamless. We had the most accomadting stay with Alanta Villa and I highly recommend staying their if you are ever in Koh Lanta. They picked us up from the Pier at no charge. The head staff member gave us a local cell phone to have and use during our stay to make things easy in contacting them. They have great food and staff was so fast to respond and acomadate you with whatever you need for example food delivery they handle for you, wanting info on things to do or places to go, or if you need anything at all. The complementary items were very kind, fresh cold water melon amongst other things. They got us a scooter so we could get around at a great rate and handled the delivery and pickup for us which helped a lot. they also have a sister resort on the beach and they give access to their guest to their private beach and you receive 10% off at the bar. Amazing experience and we would do it again!

The villas are delightfully designed with an al fresco living area next to the swimming pool and comfortable air con bedrooms. Each villa is secluded and well equipped (sharp stainless steel cook knives and crystal glasses for example). There is also a large communal swimming pool. Go down the hill and the main road has great and reasonably priced restaurants, shops and massage salons. A few minutes further lies the main beach. Every Thursday there is a local market nearby with fresh fruit and fishWe had a bad start with an unhelpful taxi driver, no-one able to book us in at first and an infestation of small ants. And could they bite. When I woke up they had invited their mates after our toddler had spread our dinner around. The night staff was a lovely man who did a great job clearing them. And in the morning Aor moved us to another villa with great views over the jungleFoolishly I brought coffee beans and when Aor could not find a coffee grinder she gave me 2 bags of ground coffee. Cookie spent ages on the phone to sort out our train tickets. This was typical of the whole staff team who were unfailingly helpful, cheerful and friendly.Every time we went out we would return to a spotlessly clean villa and a restock of teabags toiletriesWe had a lovely relaxing time and will definitely return

Can only highly recommend Alanta Villa. The staff (especially Cookie) is fabulous and always happy to help with whatever the need may be. Children are certainly welcome everything you might need is provided to ensure a comfortable stay. This is ideal for both families and couples as the villas provide privacy. This place certainly felt like home from home. If you do not want to cook, go to Three Sisters Restaurant down the road. The food is amazing. The facilities of Relax Bay Resort are free to use too and certainly adds value.

This place is heaven! A huge villa with its own amazing warm pool, a team that is ready to serve you with anything you can imagine, a fully equipped kitchen and a top location close to the most alternative and fun beach in koh lanta. Top memories from our experience: getting greeted with coconut juice, no stress pre-arranged transportation from the pier, massage in the room, free dvds to borrow and a happy birthday cake surprise for my partner! It can't get better than this..

Die Villa ist riesig, alles ist wirklich toll angelegt. Man hat 100% Privatsphäre. Pool ist klasse und das Personal ist unglaublich engagiert und hilfsbereit. Auch die Umgebung hat uns gut gefallen. Dutzende Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe, Strände und Bars sind auch nicht weit. Wir haben z.B. In-Room-Dining getestet, Roller gemietet und unseren Transport zum Flughafen über die Unterkunft organisiert. Alles hat perfekt geklappt, die Preise sind erstaunlich angenehm und Aor und Cookie kümmern sich rührend um die Gäste. Der Großteil der Unterkunft ist Open Air. Außenbad, Riesiges Wohnzimmer, Esszimmer und Küche sind im Freien. Trotz mehrerer Regenschauern konnte man immer bequem draußen bleiben. Es gibt gratis Wasser, Anti-Mücken-Mittel, ausreichend Handtücher und der gut gefüllte Kühlschrank kostet auch nicht mehr als im Minimarkt. Eigentlich müsste man die Unterkunft gar nicht verlassen. Wir hätten wirklich sehr gerne verlängert, so schön war es. Unbedingt buchen, wenn man auf Koh Lanta ist. Eine der besten Unterkünfte, in der wir je waren. Vielen Dank für dieses tolle Erlebnis. Wir kommen wieder!
