Disappointing

Vila was nice, especially the shared areas. Beach is close but rocky.

Rooms were basic, could be cleaner. Didn't like the service and staff, super slow and not wanting to help. Spent total of 1.5 hours waiting at the reception because our villa asked for a single extra bed sheet which is insane, cannot imagine how they deal with anything that requires solving issues.

A living horror

The swimming pool was nice and the apartment was spacious.

Firstly inside the apartment there were lizards and Gekos, which would come in through the holes in the walls and the door having a gap at the bottom and top. Secondly, they refused to clean our room because we only booked 4days and only allowed us to use the same towel for 5days which we find extremely unhygienic. Thirdly the geko would walk on the kitchen sink and in our bathroom.

The 24hr swimming pool is a rare and beautiful thing. Swim under the stars.

Sai Naam Lanta Residence offered a really lovely stay. The staff—especially the ladies at reception and in the restaurant—were genuinely warm, helpful, and welcoming. The pool was a true highlight: open 24 hours, beautifully maintained, and perfect for a peaceful late-night swim under the stars. The two-bedroom suite was a breath of fresh air after weeks of sharing a room—spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a large living area and a balcony. It was a perfect setup for travelling with my daughter and gave us both some breathing room.

There were a few drawbacks, though. Like many places in Thailand, using a credit card added an extra 5% to the bill—something not clearly communicated in advance, which made the final cost higher than expected. The bathroom was also a bit disappointing compared to the rest of the suite: the shower felt tired and the toiletries came in tiny, handwritten bottles that didn’t inspire much confidence. I can also imagine that the pool-facing layout might be less relaxing if one guest decided to be noisy, though it wasn’t an issue during our stay. Overall though, a really enjoyable experience, and I’d happily return.

Comfortable time for a family of 4

Rooms are somewhat cozy compared to other properties I visited. All worked in the room! Nice terrace spaces. Large pool 24 h open, with bar and restaurant service from 7:30 to 22:00, which makes your holiday comfortable if you look for easy accessibility of this service versus your room. Beach at a very short walkable distance with various bars. The hotel is in a compound with villas, there’s security at the entrance. Great simple restaurant just across the Main Street. When I visited, the property was fully booked and filled with Finnish and other Scandinavian families.

Missing air dryer, we had to requested at the reception. 2000thb deposit in cash at arrival. In the room I’ve stayed, the castle bed is in the middle of the corridor, right next to the bathroom door, kind of a funny way to max out rooms occupancy.

Everything is fine ! The rooms are clean and bright. The staff is very friendly and ready to answer all questions! Special attention deserves a stunning view of the sea and sunset from the private roof of a 3-bedroom room.

Has a lot of potential but is outdated and not well managed.

The pool directly in front of the appartment and a big house with good beds.

It wasn't clean, the curtens where to short and not wide enough, lights weren't working, the dishwasher was dirty, rusty and smelled terrible, the kitchen itself was verry dirty (stains everywhere and sticky closets). The outside couch was broken, the chair in the livingroom was broken, there was a lekage of water when it rained and other stuf was broken. After mentioning this at the management, they didn't come up with a solution but instead said thanks to us for the information. That's it! We mentioned that we want a solution but we again get a thanks for the information, even when we showed him what was wrong.

Lovely stay

the staff were fantastic and so helpful. The cook at the restaurant made delicious food. The apartments were well equipped & cleaned once a week. It was comfortable & spacious. Really great location, easy access to shops and restaurants.

The pool chlorine was a bit too strong for some of our kids, and their skin reacted to it. Other than that, we’ve enjoyed our stay.

Spacious accommodation, all the staff were very lovely, helpful and friendly with many smiles and laughs!! helped with tours, yummy breakfasts, and general queries, thank you Jaja and all the team. Quiet, peaceful and good location, small place with not too many units situated around central large and clean pool, pool towels provided. 100m to the beach access path, with several nice restaurants and bars. we enjoyed Turtle Beach restaurant.

The twin room was accessed separately upstairs and so kids didn’t want to sleep there.

booking photos is much better when it’s real. all is very old. Poor wifi which is almost not work sometimes. Bad smell from kitchen drainage the first 2 days, we used detergent and hot water few times to kill the smell. Kitchen faucet is not well fixed, it’s shaking when we use it. Poor soundproof of wall, and very bad of bad room windows. Water scales in bathroom like it’s not well cleaned. Hot shower problem, it’s either very hot or cold. Need to bring trash to garbage station. beach near hotel looks sad. it seems like there are beach, but after see it. first. time we use only pool. There’s extra % to pay by card. It’s not worth the price 24xx baht a night.

Great pool, excellent location, perfect for families.

We really enjoyed our short stay at Sai Naam and would definitely return. The gorgeous pool with direct access from our apartment, the location right by the sea, the comfortable beds and the restaurant, were all excellent.

Some of the furnishings were a little tired, and the runners on the sliding doors need oiling. We stayed four nights but had to move into the room nextdoor after three due to an error with the booking, which was blamed on booking.com. This was mildly inconvenient as it meant we had to pack up a day early, but the staff tried to be as accommodating as possible. Be aware that you will be asked to pay a 2000 THB deposit in cash on check in, but this was refunded in full at check out- not a problem for us as we are not leaving Thailand yet, but could be annoying if you are going straight home after your stay at Sai Naam.

The apartment was spacious and great value for money. The air con was efficient, the terrace gave good breakout space and the pool was brilliant. The bathroom was basic but functional but.. had brilliant lighting and a real hairdryer (which is rare!) The restaurant was awesome and served really brilliant food.

The shower temperature was hit and miss, but that seems pretty standard across Thailand.
