Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Ate in the hotel a couple of times, meal was excellent.
The covered terrace area was where smoking was permitted even when food was being served!

Beautiful, traditional building. Location is outstanding and the views spectacular. The beds are very comfortable and bedding is lovely too. Very clean.
Bathroom could be freshened up a bit. Wallpaper peeling above shower is a bit unsightly. Could be a more comfortable stay with the addition of a hairdryer, kettle and fan on these hot nights. Breakfast could have been a little more substantial for me however it is as described.

I liked the quiet. I couldn’t hear the road. The location was good for the cycling routes that I had planned. I got to keep my bicycle in a convenient garage, on the property.
No way to make coffee in the room. No mini fridge.

The staff was incredible. Very helpful and accommodating. Dinner at the restaurant was exceptional. Best of all was the view of Reichenbach Falls from the window - especially when lit up at night.
Room had no AC and it was over 80 (in May). There were no fans available as well. Open windows finally cooled it down for sleeping after 11PM. The bathroom was very cramped. So much so that the sink was basically inaccessible.
