Comfortable upgraded room, friendly staff, good location 5 minutes walk from the main station. When I was arrived they apologised that there was a problem with hot water supply and offered me a free drink as compensation. As it was late I didn't take up the offer but the water was nice and hot in the morning.
All good - but I have stayed here in summer too when the rooms get very hot. There don't seem to be any air con controls so that could be an issue for some.

Great hotel in a quiet neighboorhood. The "Superior" was nice, with extra space to spread out, including a couch and desk.
The room was on the rear of the hotel with a view of teh hill side across teh river - very private. and very quiet. We didn't hear any noise from the other rooms. The hallways feature a staggered design,providing a feeling of privacy when enteing or leaving the room. he front desk and other hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful.
The morning breakfast was excellent. The variety of foods was fabulous: fresh cooked eggs, breads and pastries, several types of yoghurt including non-dairy. The caprese salad was a nice touch. The coffee (brewed on demand by machine) was great.
It's a short walk to the train station, which has excellent underground shopping for groceries, pharmacy, etc.
We will stay here again the enxt time we are in Baden Argau.
The hotel has a restaurant and bar - smoke from that part of teh restaurant drifted into the lobby and up the stairs

Overall very clean, convenient parking area
The lights in the room, those close to the bed were colored and dynamic, really weird. Bathroom with poor privacy with glass door and poor isolation. The water control of the shower is at the end of the spacious plate yet when you turn on you are already under the water and not pleasant. The breakfast is of not great quality with limited choice.
