Did not realise that Blue Badge parking for a disabled person was car park chargeable and at £20 was very expensive and the receptionist was very abrupt and abrasive the room was not disabled friendly and was along a long hallway the room was tired and outdated with wallpaper coming off the wall and glossware paint all chipped. It was a noisy room overlooking the busy car parking with smokers and early risers being noisy. The carpet felt dirty and the bathroom flooring poorly vinyl laid. Overall we were disappointed

The room was clean and cozy but a bit hot. A fan would have been useful even with the windows open. It is an older building so sound travels through the walls and floorboards.

The bedrooms are clean, but a bit tired needs renovation. We had a power cut during the recent storm & had to move rooms but the staff were great. The parking is good but expensive at £10 a day. Overall staff are excellent & very attentive. Bar Sixty the food is very good with generous portions. The postion of the hotel is also excellent with lots of rooms having sea views.

1. I don’t understand how this hotel thinks they can provide a shower cubicle that small, I couldn't even lift my arms without touching the sides, it is unacceptable! 2. The bedroom doors do not have soft close, so you hear other people's bedroom doors slamming shut from inside your room. 3. The mattress is very old and should be replaced asap. 4. The furniture in bedroom was old. I will never stay at this hotel again, I'm glad I only booked one night.

I checked in to a tiny box room. They kindly moved me. But the next room was no better. There were no toiletries. No iron. No fridge. I couldn’t get in the door with my luggage. The water was so hot I could t have a shower. The duvet was flat and old. The room looked straight into someone’s apartment. There are much nicer hotels nr by. I asked to get a refund and check out. Sadly this was not an option.

I have stayed at The Pentire before and as ever the staff are lovely , friendly & very accommodating. The rooms are clean , bed was comfy and tea / coffee provided. Breakfast was plentiful and lots of choice. The only things I would mention is maybe it’s time for a paint job in some rooms and corridors. Lots of chips out of the woodwork here & there & looking a bit shabby. The en-suite was cramped and very little room between the shower, wash basin & loo. Location is good for us but Pentire is quite a walk from the town centre and may not suit some holidaymakers.

Not as good as last year. They now charge £10per night for parking which was free last year. We were told the bar was closed at 12am on the Friday night, it was open all night last year. On the Saturday night it was still open at past midnight so there seems to be a bit of inconsistency. We had the same issue with food last year when we were told it would take an hour but we ordered anyway and it turned up about 20 minutes later, I think they were trying to discourage us from ordering

Had a great stay. Staff were all helpful if a bit stretched at times. Breakfast was fantastic. The swimming was lovely on those wet and windy days. We all had a really enjoyable time.

Parking was a challenge as there was not enough. The swimming pool was quiet and nice however the changing room was outside and only one shower working. Breakfast was good and as it is made to order- wastage is minimised. Staff were very friendly and always with a smile. The adjoining room was a pleasant surprise. Very spacious rooms.

We were in family room with bunk beds (316) which was a bit on the cold side. We ended up checking into another room 202 which was smaller but very warm and comfortable. Breakfast & dinner options were really good and the heated pool was also quite nice. The hotel is older looking but that didn’t bother us. Beds were also comfortable. We had a nice day and lots of fun taking surfing lessons!

Lovely hotel overlooking fistrel beach. Staff are friendly and accommodating. The food is nice in the Bistro and there's a pool that you can swim in. Lovely walks all around . I was very happy with my stay .

Had a fabulous break away with my mum for mother's day. The hotel is a little dated and had creaky floors however, when my mum didn’t sleep well on the 1st night, she got moved to a beautiful top floor sea view double (which she loved). We ate in the bistro on night 1 and the food was very average (and clearly had been left under a heat lamp all evening). Such a shame, the top layer of my lasagne was so tough I couldn't cut through it. Regardless, the hotel itself is lovely, beautiful location, staff on reception were so accomodating (especially Bethan). Couldnt see any aircon, so I suspect the rooms could get quite warm during the summer! Overall for the price, a lovely autumn/winter/spring hotel at a very reasonable price.

Room was scruffy paint peeling off walls.lights flickering...light shining through gap in door all night from hall.5ft room like a small corridor.Everytime people going past so noisy by my head by wall.Walls so thin you could hear coughs urine speaking etc...Absolutely disgusting.Worst hotel i have ever stayed in .No facilities for disabled lady .chairs so low and grubby..Only nice thing was the morning receptionist who went out of her way to help with luggage to room and car...A credit to hotel...

We have stayed twice before in a family room that accommodates dogs and on both occasions been comfortable. However this time we were given a different room that meant our 13 year daughter had to come into our bedroom to access bathroom, which isn’t ideal in middle of night. The tv did not have any signal and apparently the hotel had been aware for a week. Normally we do not use TVs in hotels but on this occasion after a long drive down and then a full day exploring we wished to retire early and relax with tv. That was not to be. The room was uncomfortably hot all night even after we had adjusted heating and shower door was coming off rail in bathroom.
