Loved the view from the rooms rooms with Balcony. There isn't much to do, so you should upgrade. We couldn't figure out how to work the doors though, seemed a bit broken after we figured it out and my friend fell through one side of the bench since it was missing slatso lol. Anyway very romantic place. We hated the hotel attached. Paid $200 for some crappy food and still went out to get pizza from Rossopomodoro after. Locals seems to like the restaurant though.

The A/C didn't work even the temperature control was low. The room temperature was terrible high. You can open the window but then you will be eaten alive by annoying mosquitos despite the fact that it's really noisy area. There is a large parking lot for people coming for food to many restaurants surrounding the hotel. The hotel is also a couple of meters from the Genova airport runway so you can imagine what is the noise when the departing aircraft sets take-off thrust!

The bed was not comfortable. The mattress was way too firm and instead of feeling softness it seemed like I was feeling metal springs. Also, while I was assured someone would be staffing the front desk 24/7, when I went to check out and ask for a taxi at 4:30AM, no one was there. I had no idea who to call for a taxi so I walked to the airport. Also I had to let myself out by unlocking with a key in the door but wasn't able to lock the door behind me. There was a sign on the counter saying to call a number for any assistance needed but I was unable to make a call with my cell phone. The nearby restaurants are closed for several hours in the afternoon and therefore none were open when I really wanted to have some food. There were many nice things about this property, but I wish I had stayed elsewhere.

This property is nice, especially the in suite Turkish bath. However, I specifically booked here as they have an airport shuttle and I had a morning flight, but when I asked about arranging the shuttle after check in, I was informed the shuttle doesn’t run on weekends. Had I known this, I would have stayed in another part of the city where I could walk to things and see the city. The marina is pretty isolated and doesn’t let you really experience Genoa and it’s a bit too far away from things to walk.
