Well equipped room. tea/coffee/milk, kettle, microwave & fridge. Toiletries provided & ensuite shower. Plenty of storage space & comfortable bed. Close to Ipswich Hospital & onsite parking. Plenty of local shops,pubs & restaurants nearby. Use of separate lounge, kitchen, conservatory & laundry. Clean & well-presented. Hassle free self check in & out.

I did a one night stopover, had to be in the area. Room was absolutely fine for a solo stay. Basic, but yes, there was a fridge and microwave I did not use. Shower was good. Cannot complain, felt lucky to get the final parking spot

The landlord was very helpful, the place itself was clean, issues were not enough parking at place when full and I was in the front room and there were families staying who’s children were very noisy in the morning and adults were noisy till early in the mornings

Room lovely and spacious. Bed nice and comfortable. Location not too far from the town centre. Within easy walking distance of places to eat for dinner. Martin, the owner was very helpful. Came to Ipswich to visit relatives, so would stay at Lattice Lodge again.

This is a nice little guest house and the proprietor (Martin) was exceptionally friendly and helpful. My booking was a little complicated and there were a few paperwork issues, but they were soon sorted. The room I has was small, but clean. The TV didn't work properly (I think the aerial had a problem) - and I think it may be on the list for a slight update - but was fine for me. Breakfast in the morning was good quality and cooked fresh. All in all it suited what I needed this time.

Martin the owner was delightful and so helpful. Breakfast was superb but a little slow due to a new kitchen hob they were still trying to work out. But fab and full brekkie. Suggestions provided for somewhere good to eat for dinner as we’d never been to Ipswich before. Plus a very handy Sainsbury’s local opposite in case you need anything at the last minute! Thank you Martin and co for a very enjoyable evening for my 8-yr old son, 78-yr old dad and I 😁😁

Owner as lovely, really friendly. Booking and payment was easy and communication excellent. The actual place is nice, a good value B&B with nice beds in a good location. Shower wasn't fantastic and could do with a bit more oomph but otherwise a very pleasant stay.

Lattice lodge was a great place to stay on a recent work trip. Martin was very welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable with soft towels and a comfy bed. The breakfast was very tasty. Martin had provided lots of information about the local area and things to do which would have been very handy if I wasn’t in the area for work. There’s ample parking at the property and there’s a sainsburies local across the road and a friendly Italian restaurant just down the road which handily does takeaway too.

Had a wonderful room. Martin was a wonderful host and he and his staff really care that you are happy with your accommodation. I really liked that he had a small common fridge available for guest use. He is a real hands on guy and seemed to always be doing laundry or cleaning. Would definitely recommend staying here. Also nice to have a grocery store across the street, on a bus route and nearby restaurants. He puts together a nice info pack which was handy. I also appreciate that he is very eco friendly.

We stayed for two nights and although the owner wasn't there when we arrived there were clear instructions on checking in and he was very helpful and friendly. There was complimentary tea and coffees and a selection of crisps and nuts for a price. Would definitely stay again.
