This property needs upgrading. Room furnishing is outdated. Breakfast included but not impressed at all. The parking garage is a joke. If you drive a mid size car, good luck to your parking skill. We also asked to change our room which is close to the noisy pool and the AC seemed not working properly. We were asked to pay extra 45 euro per night. We stayed for two nights. Ripped off. Bathroom condition is disgusting, my wife hesitated to go in the shower barefoot. Rust and dirt inside the shower, I will not recommend anyone to stay here,

Excellent breakfast buffet spread. For lunch and dinner the many nearby restaurants offer a better and more varied choice. Be sure to take an Italian adapter plug with you.

Upon arrival at the hotel the woman behind the desk was very friendly and welcoming and allowed us to leave our bags until check in so we could go and explore the town. Our room was on the ground floor and was very clean and spacious however we found it difficult to navigate our way through the sun beds to get to our door, especially when they were surrounded by peoples belongings. WiFi was pretty poor in the room, weak to no signal at all unless you went outside or into the lobby. Breakfast was nice, a buffet with plenty of choice but unfortunately no fresh juice or fruit. We ended up getting our fruit fix from a local greengrocer in the town. The town is beautiful with plenty of eateries only a short walk away.

Hotel staff were always willing to help and were able to recommend a vineyard to visit for wine tasting and a tour of the cellars when the weather was not too good. Rooms were very clean and we were bed & breakfast only with a great choice of food for breakfast. Easy walking distance to Limone centre with plenty of great restaurants to choose from. Would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone.

we came here for 4 nights after our wedding and it was the perfect choice. Great location to walk to the town and beach, and as it seemed to be mainly adults, it was peaceful by the pool. We had a room on the 2nd floor with lake view. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel is nice and the rooms are big with a good terrasse and view over Lake Garda. Its located directly to the beach where you can take a swimm. The svimmingpool is very good for svimming but the spa area isnt quit as good. The towels where clean but seemed to be old. The area is very touristed If you are interested in hiking or climbing, via ferrata etc. Go to Arco 15 km north

Very nice hotel with good staff and an excellent restaurant. Room was clean and comfortable. Try and get a room on the first floor (Room 215 upwards) as you get a great balcony area. Restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. Good location overlooking the lake and I had a great time. Would use the hotel again if in the area.

We had 4 night break at Hotel Alexander in late October and got an upgrade to a "junior suite" - I suspect because it was very near the end of the season and the hotel had few guests. Nice big room, odd bathroom set up (shower cubicle and sink sited in main room, not in separate bathroom) but didn't really bother us. Fantastic views of Lake Garda and the Alps from bedroom's patio doors but the big downside was not having a private balcony - all the rooms opened onto a communal verandah, which meant you could not have the net curtains open, and as we had chain-smoking neighbours, we could rarely sit outside either! Total lack of privacy which was really not to our taste. Also, although the room was spacious with 2 double beds, they were the most uncomfortable we have ever slept in! The breakfast was also not great - the usual continental selection but small storm flies were in abundance and nothing was covered up - very unhygienic! Also, no choice of eggs, just scrambled which were bizarrely offered up on individual plates and were only luke warm. Also, if you were early to breakfast, the cook did not bother to cook any eggs until more people appeared. But overall a nice hotel, very clean rooms and very handy to walk down into Limone.

Limited times of air con available in the room was frustrating and inefficient. The service and ambience was nice, but in places the facilities appeared worn and dated. The food was good, breakfast needed increased protection from the small, pretty birds who helped themselves from the loaf and rolls upon the self service table. The location was perfect for lake swimming, access to the village and transport links; not to mention the breath taking views from your bedroom and all around you. Lovely.

A short stroll to the centre of Limone. Buffet breakfast was good and the staff very friendly. Rooms are clean and of a good size, a little dated but fine. Reception was also very helpful and friendly. Food in the restuarant was ok. 13 euro set meal in the evening was good value for money.

Great hotel for what we paid. Disappointed the air con only runs in July and August and that the pictures don't show just how overlooked the hotel and its pool are. However you are right by the lake and limone town so definitely reccomend.

We loved this place, we did ask for a room change with a lake view even though that is what we had booked. We ended up with an outstanding room but did cost us more. The breakfast was good and beds were so comfortable.

We loved the location - it had lovely views but was away from the noise of tourists. The restaurant was fabulous, we enjoyed everything we ate there and it was great value for money. The 'free wi-fi' reception didn't extend to as far as our room( #120) which was a disappointment and we had to sit in the lobby to get anything done. If you are ever booked into room #102 (as we were before requesting to be moved), request to be moved immediately as that too is right next to the kitchens and you get all the noise. Also, if you're larger than average (say, a size 14), the showers will be uncomfortably small). Overalll, our experience was a good one.

Clean and modern room, with friendly staff. Restaurant serves decent quality food, but the waiters aren't so great. The only real downside is that the walls are not at all sound-resistant and the towels aren't very nice, otherwise totally recommended. Don't expect to use the pool and hot-tub; while both looked nice, the water was freezing!

we highly reccomend this hotel, we were two minutes from the beach. The restaurant was an excellent place to start your day. The staff were exceptional and even kept the door open and lights on when we went to Nabucco at the Verona opera. we loved the location and used it to see Garda, Gardaland, Verona and more. We went through the tunnels on the film Quatum of Solace and just found the place amazing.

A new hotel at the southern end of Limone, approx 5 mins walk (downhill) to centre. The bedrooms are very spacious and well fitted with plenty of storage space. The lounge and reception areas very bright and modern. The only downside is the dining area and bar, which are bit basic and dark. They don't seem to fit in with the rest if the hotel. Apart from this criticism however, this is a very good hotel which we would recommend.
