We had a room with a balcony overlooking the canal. The view from the balcony was fantastic. The room was very comfortable. This area of Venice is less touristy but still has a nice atmosphere and plenty of bars and restaurants.

Our train in Venice would arrive quite late. The day before arrival we asked via chat if we could check-in late and got the message they'd keep the reception open 'till midnight. The staff was incredibly helpful and the room itself was great and spacious. It's not a 5star hotel, but services and comfort are on level. 10/10 would stay again.

Good location as it right by some restaurants with a sunset view, however a bit noisy. The room was super spacious but hardly any sunlight due to being on the ground floor. The aircondition was a savior. Room was generally clean.

This hotel is small and clean. We found it a little confusing to get from the airport to the hotel, but we eventually took the Alilaguna boat (orange line) and asked to be dropped off at the Guglie stop, which is right in front of the hotel. Our room was spacious and tidy, with a lovely balcony that overlooked the canal. The air conditioning worked well (we went in the hot month of June). A good restaurant was located just outside the property, offering good food at reasonable prices. However, on Fridays, the restaurant had a DJ who played loud music until 2 a.m. The restaurant was on the side below our balcony, and the noise didn't really bother us because we used earplugs, but I thought it was worth mentioning. The gentleman who checked us in didn’t provide much information, so we had to ask several questions about WiFi, cleaning services, etc. The lady at the reception the next day was very helpful and polite, which was a nice change. Breakfast was included, but didn't start until 8:00 a.m. Unfortunately, we couldn’t enjoy it since we were already out exploring at 7:00 a.m. to avoid the crowds and take nice pictures. Overall, our stay was enjoyable, and we would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in Palazzo Cendon at the end of June 2025 (2 adults and 13 year old). It was all we needed and expected. We wanted to stay in Venice, authentic place, but in less busy area, overlooking smaller canal. We stayed in Junior suite with balcony, facing a canal. It is an older building, decorated in old time charm. The balcony was perfect. In the morning it was getting morning sun and in the afternoon it was in the shade, so we could sit outside and rest without sweating and watch every day life. The room has AC, not running as cool as we would like, but sufficient enough for comfortable night sleep and day rest from the heat of the day. Room and bathroom were clean. The hotel has an elevator, if your luggage is too heavy to carry up the stairs. We purchased breakfast at the hotel one morning (10 euro/each, running from 8am-10am), it was good. Several restaurants/coffees/crape shop near the hotel. Unfortunately, there is a construction going on on both sides of canal (raising sidewalks). That meant restaurant next door had tables right below our balcony and you could hear guests talking till 1-2am. We slept with ear plugs, so it was fine. But there is a noise of everyday life if you are on canal side. Everything is close at Venice.The hotel has Crea,Guglie and The Archie waterbus stop near by (3-6min walk).St Mark's Square 30min easy walk.Guglie stop has also a separate waterbus to the airport, not from the airport, Alilaguna company, 18 euro each, about 40min).

The front desk staff was incredible. So friendly & very helpful! My room was clean, spacious, & it had a beautiful view of the canal! I really enjoyed exploring Cannaregio, the neighborhood where the hotel is located. And it’s a less than 10 minute walk from the train station! I highly recommend :)

This hotel was a great location for us. It was very close to the train station in Venice and we had a lot of bags so that was very helpful. The people were very nice and helpful. The hotel was right next to a cafe that we used quite a bit. The only downside was the beds weren't as comfortable as we would have liked but they were ok.

Comfortable, convenient, walkable and good for value. Vaporetto water bus is just outside the hotel which face the large canal connecting to the Grand Canal. Great connection for Murano and Burano islands. About 5 minutes walk from the train station (same side).

Great breakfast, attentive service at the breakfast, and helpful receptionist at check-in. The hotel rooms are a little outdated. If your room faces the canal or the alley, it can get very noisy, particularly in the night from the crowd and the motorboats. Also, the shower stall does not have any place (such as a holder or a shelf) for things like soaps, shampoos or your razor, which is really inconvenient.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Property is hard to find, but within short walking distance of the S. Lucia train station. Lots of dining and shopping options are a short walk away. Room was spacious by Italian standards and has a refrigerator. There was some noise (and cigarette smoke if window is open) from a restaurant across a narrow street from the hotel, but not too bad.

Lovely wee hotel with decent staff and the most amazing outlook. My husband and I stayed in a suite so had access to a small balcony overlooking the canal affording us a lovely view. Our room was comfortable with old traditional furniture which added to its charm. Kids were in a standard triple room and it did unfortunately smell of sewerage. We reported this but nothing seemed to be done. That was a bit of a negative but fortunately we were hardly in the rooms. Hotel was located in a good area with loads of restaurants and bars close by and around a 30 minute stroll to all the big tourist attractions. Great wee pub next door too. Also really convenient for the water bus with 3 stops within a 5 minute walk. Breakfast was enjoyable but be warned they start to close down before the advertised serving times. On our last day the kids rocked up with just over 5 minutes to spare and weren’t offered any meat or cheese for their rolls so had to make do with dry bread, although were able to grab some fruit and cakes from the buffet area so they didn’t go hungry. Overall a pretty good stay with a couple of things that could have been better, but these didn’t spoil our trip and we’d definitely use this hotel again.

The hotel was a quick and easy walk from the train station in a less touristy canal that still offers its own unique experience. If you are staying im a room facing the canal there is a bar that does have a lot of activity until nearly 1am. Other than that its beautiful.

We really liked how close the property is to the train. We appreciated that we didn’t need to haul our bags be the far (only an 8 min walk). We could easily walk to all attractions and there were good restaurants nearby. The wifi did not work very well but it didn’t impact our trip that much. The breakfast was great.

Nice hotel. Booked for 3 nights. We had a standard room which was on ground level right beside the reception. Had a double bed and a single bed in the separate dining/lounge room. The toilet/shower is tiny. Barely any room to turn around especially for a larger person, but space is a premium in Venice so can't complain. The rooms were clean and the aircon and mini fridge worked which was good as it was hot during our stay. The only disappointment was the breakfast. I didn't expect a full buffet with bacon, eggs etc but didn't expect meager rashions either. Every morning the lady would ask if you wanted ham and cheese and were given 2 slices of cheese and 3 slices of ham each and 2 slices of a French roll. There was also a couple of croissants on each table. The biscuits, cakes and 3 or 4 pieces of slice bread on the table to choose from were there the whole 3 days we were there. We noticed the bread dry up and curl and the bread we were being given was a bit dry. There were no tomatoes, cucumbers etc so we brang our own. There were a few pieces of fruit, yoghurt in tubs and 2 or 3 cereals. The coffee machine was excellent and the highlight of breakfast and I'm not even a coffee drinker. That sums up how disappointing breakfast is here. On a positive note. Reception closes at midnight. We were going to arrive after midnight as our train broke down so we notified reception. The young man waited for us till 12.30am so we wouldn't have to do the after hours key find.
